Rudest bank ever

Rudest bank ever. Other reviewers have noted their experience in both incompetent account handling and intentional discourtesy. We would let a fully automated system handle our business accounts before we ever put our trust in their bank. Only consider working with them if wasting time and aggravation are your goals.

Rug has unremovable plastic lock

I ordered an expensive rug from Rug Studio and waited months for the rug which was on back order. When it finally arrived, it had a wire lock on the rug (similar to the anti-theft devices you see on clothing in stores). This could NOT be removed, and their suggestion was "tuck the plastic lock under the rug" or "go buy wirecutters." Not the service you expect from a business selling expensive items, and incredibly discourteous. Never again, and buyer beware.

Hi Karen, I am sorry you received a rug with a wire tag on it. While not all rugs have such a tag, they are generally very easy to remove. However, if you are unable to remove it, we are always happy to pick it up and replace it at no additional charge to you. Please notify our claims department that you wish to proceed in this manner. All Sezane products are doused in perfume

Sezane's clothing is beautiful. However, every package comes doused in their perfume, with which they intentionally spray each package even when requested to leave the perfume out. This is not just an issue for people with asthma or allergies, this is an issue for anyone who does not want their clothing or accessories to be soaked in a perfume not of their choosing. This is not just an issue for clothing, but also includes the accessories. Imagine how difficult it is to get perfume out of shoes, handbags, and (plastic/resin) jewelry. Polite requests to the store, as reported by other reviewers, are met with the same answer, that all packages are sprayed with their perfume. This is unfortunate, and has been reviewed on multiple websites by (previous) customers who have had the same issue and the same response from the store. This experience is something you expect from a purchase at a thrift store, not something you want from a purchase of expensive new clothing. This practice cheapens the quality of their brand, but they are not to be persuaded. Be aware that at best, your purchase will require immediate dry cleaning. Buyer beware.

Revolve sells dangerously toxic products

Revolve sells faux leather bags which have a dangerously high level of toxic chemicals. These include dimethylformamide, chromium, arsenic and lead, which can be absorbed through the skin with repeated use. The bag I ordered was so saturated with toxic chemicals that the fumes spread throughout the house on opening the package. This bag had to be moved outdoors immediately and customer service did not respond. Consequently, this will be brought to the attention of both state and federal agencies who may initiate a recall of these products from Revolve. Buy from Revolve at your own risk, as this can happen with real leather handbags as well. Even if you purchase clothing or other items, expect that customer service will not respond to your requests, which makes all ordering risky at best. Caveat emptor.

One order may incur monthly charges

As other reviewers have warned, this company tries to sign up customers who simply place an order for their "rewards" program which charges monthly. After reading about this illegal practice, I attempted to get customer service to answer whether or not my account was signed up and charged without my consent. Customer service refused to send an email or provide cancellation information, so now the account will have to be monitored monthly to see if the charges go through. Be aware that just placing an order with this company can result in monthly charges for a program you do not intend to join. Reports will be filed with the BBB, FTC and Attorney General's office about this practice. Buyer beware.

Save yourselves the aggravation

The blanket recently purchased from Annie Selke is possibly the worst quality I have ever seen. You can find better (and cheaper) blankets at Target or its equivalent. Threadbare, chemically treated, scratchy and unbelievably poor quality. This store used to be reliable for worthwhile purchases and should never be relied upon again. Such a shame.

Afterpay charges for orders that never process

Afterpay charged my bank account for an order that was never processed. If you read the BBB reviews, this company has engaged in the same practice with hundreds of consumers. After repeatedly requesting help from Afterpay to get the charges reversed, they have not responded to multiple emails regarding refunding the charges. Use this company knowing that this has happened to many other consumers and will likely happen with your account as well.

Update: Attn. Afterpay staff, per your response, you were sent multiple requests for assistance in processing a refund and have since closed the dispute. I have repeatedly sent requests to Afterpay using both your website and direct email to try to resolve the issue. In response, you closed the dispute and requested that yet another screenshot from Nordstrom's staff stating that the order never processed be sent to you. You have now received that proof for a third time, and you may also now respond to the BBB, AG's office and Dept. of Business Oversight reports as well. Perhaps in future you might choose to respond in timely fashion and with basic respect to customer service requests involving your company's billing errors. Please feel free to actually provide the requested refund now that you have been publicly requested to do so.

Not a luxury experience

The shoes I ordered, for the second time arrived soaked in cheap cologne. Do NOT order from this company unless you want items doused with cologne. As a luxury company, one would think that Cettire would be more aware of the need for personal hygiene.

The items sent looked as though a child had painted them, which is concerning that child labor may be involved. This company refuses to respond to any email requests and there is no customer service available of any kind.

This used to be the best online store

This used to be the best online store. I received a package - with no tracking number ever sent - which arrived open and covered with some kind of purple dye (seriously, this was the most weirdly damaged package I have ever received). After cleaning up the mess (and having to throw out the dye-soaked items) I asked for a replacement. Instead of replacing the items (which they claimed they are unable to do) they only refunded the shipping cost. This is the most discourteous, unprofessional and sad customer service experience, and my repeat attempts to get help were deeply frustrating (I was kept on hold on the phone for almost an hour). It is sad to say, because this store used to have the best quality home goods, but do yourself a favor and find anywhere else to purchase linens.
