Nightmarish Experience: A Shocking Tale of Unprofessionalism and Betrayal with FTI
I cannot emphasize enough how utterly appalling this company is; I implore you, avoid booking with them at all costs. Our recent encounter with their services during our holiday in Egypt has left us utterly disillusioned. We had planned an exciting trip to Cairo, and our contact person, Khaled El Gezawy, appointed by FTI, seemed like a nightmare in disguise.
Our scheduled trip was set for Tuesday, the 27th, with a pickup time of 2:20 AM. We organized our entire holiday around this much-anticipated excursion and even retired to bed early on Monday to ensure we were well-rested. However, the ordeal began when we were abruptly awakened at 11:55 PM by a knock on our door, only to be told that the trip had been canceled because we were the sole participants. Imagine our shock—merely two hours before our planned departure time! To add insult to injury, Khaled had the audacity to send an email to our hotel at 11:22 PM, as if that could suffice as a proper notification. Outrageous, unprofessional, and downright ludicrous.
His email arrogantly proposed two options: a refund or rescheduling for Thursday. Little did Khaled realize that we were leaving the next day, making Thursday utterly impossible for us. In a further display of his incompetence, the email stated that he would be present at our hotel at 10:30 AM. Trusting his word, I positioned myself in the lobby by 10:25 AM, eagerly awaiting his arrival. To my dismay, I ended up wasting a torturous 25 minutes of my precious time, only to discover that he was a no-show. Frustrated and fed up, I consulted the FTI tour book and dialed his number. To my astonishment, Khaled had the audacity to inform me over the phone that he had already left the premises, leaving cash at the reception—an amount significantly less than what we had paid.
In light of this dismal experience, I vehemently urge you to steer clear of this service. And to FTI, if you happen to come across this review, I implore you to reevaluate your choice of employees. Khaled's actions have showcased a level of unprofessionalism that is simply unacceptable.
