Horrific service!
You can't ring Yodel for help, so went on their chat and reported that all previous parcels have been dumped on the doorstep with not even a knock etc, and they assured me that it would not happen again... GUESS AGAIN!! have been sat behind front door for 20mins, counting down the deliveries before they arrived on the app so I could catch the driver and ask if he could stop abandoning our parcels outside - so I can categorically confirm the driver did not even attempt to knock! also he threw the small parcel (which would've fitted in the Smartbox or letterbox that were nearer) on the doormat, taking a blurry photo as he was running out the front gate!!! I called out to him and tried to explain, but he appeared not to understand English particularly well.... As he walked off I (a disabled person) had to try to get the parcel off the floor, at which point I realised it wasn't even our parcel!!!! (I have taken photos of the tracking and address information label - it's 2 blocks behind us!
Ten minutes later the driver then returns with my parcel and doesn't even ask for the other parcel....he was leaving until I said repeatedly "NOT OURS, NOT OURS" pointing at the address label!!
Honestly I have no clue where you find these people, but this one is only marginally better than the driver we had last year (We've not been ordering from companies that use Yodel as I got sick of being threatened by a nasty Bulgarian man over him leaving our parcels unattended (several were stolen!)
We literally dread getting anything delivered by Yodel!!! If you are a company, please please PLEASE do not inflict this service on your customers!
