Review of Quick Quack Car Wash
Just when I think QQ has it's act…
Just when I think QQ has it's act together, they surprise me with less than stellar service! Once again, the young man who guided me into the wash was just too darn lazy to pre-spray my entire front windshield and he never moved to even attempt to pre-spray my rear window, which is a must with an SUV. So, Iwasted their time, energy and supplies by immediately driving through a second time, hoping the wash would clean my front and rear windows. Wondering where management is during the day? I hve never seen anyone who appears to be supervising the workers. Don't get me wrong. Some of the youngsters who work there are excellent, but every once in a while a lazy kid couldn't care less about customer service. Management, where are you?

When I called customer service
When I called customer service, I was treated rudely by “D,” and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, he said one was not available would NOT be available to speak with me. I called back and spoke with Parker, who was courteous and solved my problem, but who said a supervisor would not be available for up to three days. It is obvious to me that QQ’s corporate policy is to prevent customers from speaking to bosses at all costs. Well, this is going to cost them because I will cancel my membership at the end of the month. That’s $480 in lost revenue in the next year because corporate does not value their customers. I am not surprised QQ has only two stars on this site. I would give them a minus if I could.

Review of Storyworth
Great option for someone who needs…
Great option for someone who needs deadlines, even if they are artificially created. Additionally, and most importantly, the end product, the BOOK, is fantastic!

Best Fathers Day Present Ever!
So, I received my first three color copies for my three adult children and I am THRILLED at how attractive they are, inside and out! Soon, I will start ordering the black and white copies for my ten grandchildren. They are much cheaper for my 477 page book when compared to color costs ($39 for black and white, $99 for color.) Friends have seen the book and want to order one for themselves, however; I am a bit leery of having non-family members read some of my personal challenges and tribulations. In conclusion, again, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY BOOK! Best Father’s Day present ever in my 47 years of being a dad!

Adequate at best
As a general rule, Quick Quack in north Fontana, CA, DID have a superior facility until the last two months or so when entire blocks of vacuums were inoperative; a car was rarely dry when pulling out of the wash and RARELY do the youngsters manning the spray wand at the wash’s entry actually spray the rear window, and some barely wet the front windshield. I moved to Quick Quack from a nearby competitor because they offered a superior wash. Not any more. I gave them 3 stars because the wash is now adequate at best.

Review of Storyworth
I LOVE Storyworth
I LOVE Storyworth! Just finished and ordered my 476 page color books for me and my three adult children. Will order the black and white copies soon for my grandchildren. And kudos for the OUTSTANDING customer support. A quick and simple email provides fast and extremely helpful assistance!
Using Storyworth was difficult at first, especially posting photos, however, I soon learned a workaround that made it much easier. I just wish I could have put pics side by side but the program wouldn't allow that. So, I took a photo of the photos side by side, then sent them to my email, downloaded and copied them and then pasted into the book. Also, I wrote most of the chapters on MS Word, copied and pasted them when complete. When writing on the Storyworth program, for some reason I would accidentally hit something in the program and my work would disappear. I have no idea why, but using MS Word worked around that.
Continuing, I STRONGLY suggest that Storyworth finds a way to include the page numbers on the drafts as they do in the "preview" portions. It was difficult jumping from "preview" to the writing stage and having to search the document to find the page that needed corrections.
On the positive side, the end result is EXCELLENT! The book is gorgeous and looks like a book you would purchase at a premium bookstore, and the prices are relatively inexpensive, especially the black and white copies, considering the high quality, end result product.
For newbies, be sure to proof your book numerous times before submitting it for printing. I proofed my 477 pages four times and still found over 100 more modifications that were needed when I received my first book. By the way, follow Storyworth's suggestion that you order just one book so you can proof it once again before ordering multiple copies. And change the color of the cover so you can tell the difference between the first "trial" book and subsequent proofed copies.
Also, I loved being able to write my own questions. It really made it MY life story!
One other negative: The "preview" process that identifies poor photo or document images includes suggestions on how to fix the problem that, for me, were convoluted and unworkable. I ended up simply "X'ing" out the problem and submitting the book as is, and all of the photos and documents turned out fine, exactly like they appeared in the chapters.
So, in conclusion, BUY THIS PRODUCT FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS WHO NEED TO CAPTURE THEIR LIFE STORY FOR THEIR POSTERITY. I wanted to write my story for years (I'm 74 years old), but didn't know where to start and how to publish it for my family. Storyworth was the absolutely perfect answer to that dilemma.
Review of Epson
This printer stinks
This printer (Epson ET 5850) stinks! (To put it mildly!!) $1200 one set of replacement ink bottles (less than $100) and tax and it constantly jams; double-sided color printing takes 45 seconds; the "fix paper jam" process must have been written by "Alice in Wonderland;" the color print quality is very, very poor, always with a faded look; the printer changes from one cassette to another on it's own and it often selects the rear cassette paper feed in the middle of job; "cancel print job" really doesn't mean "cancel print job." It merely picks up where it left off even after "cancelling" and turning off the power; trying to correct the print quality is like trying to count the stars in the sky: it just "ain't gonna happen!" "No pending jobs" really means "we ain't gonna tell ya!"
Do NOT under any circumstances buy this piece of bandini!!
