No warranty on serial product defect.

After several orders with good result, I now have 6 sun loungers that are showing the same problem with the wheels. One by one they are breaking. Product age = 14 months.

Spanish distributor does not honour warranty obligations, saying it's wear and tear. All wheels break at the same place....

I asked for spares but even paying for them they don't have them until 6-12 months.

This company used to work well but this recent experience is horrible. My damage: €700.

Productos en garantía, con el mismo problema con todas las tumbonas. La empresa no responde indicando que es "desgaste". Ahora encima resulta que no tienen recambios hasta 6-12 meses....

Review of HP Instant Ink

HP Instant Ink problems (3x)

Sometimes the printer stops being connected to Instant Ink, rendering it useless while I still have a stack of subscription cartridges I had already paid for.

I revised the Wifi connection, reset the printer completely, reinstalled, etc etc

Got in touch with HP Support, who said they would send me new cartridges urgently with 24-48 hours service. I received them one week later... They didn't work out of the box. I had to fiddle around with the HP Smart app and got it working in the end.

There won't be a third time this happens. I will go back to Brother and buy my own cartridges in a shop. All this subscription stuff is simply not working for a business.

The apps and interfaces of HP are extremely slow. I am surprised by this, as they are quite a large IT consultancy themselves.

This crappiness is even more confirmed by:
- I receive an email in Spanish (correct) with the subject in French (huh?)
- when I called their phone support, their voice menu went something like this:
"- for support with Instant Ink choose 1
- for prompt insert menu option here and delete this template text choose 2"

Update as of 07-09-2023: the cartridges I received also stopped working after a day.

I have cancelled the Instank Ink subscription. HP said they will still charge me the subscription amount end of this month despite delivering a horrible service. I am looking at shorting their stock, this company can't be worth $30B...

Update 29/9: I asked for a refund of the last month given that they didn't not render the service. The HP employee said he would take it up with his supervisor. Never heard back. Neither will they from me.

Thirdhome takes it all, owner gets back little to nothing

I was really enthusiastic about the concept and put in 4 weeks of availability to get points for a holiday with my family.

However, when trying the use the accumulated points it has been impossible to find an available home for me and my family.

When I looked a few months ago for something for the summer, there were only 2 places in Spain in July and August, and the availability period of the house near the beach was 3 days (how is that possible, if owners have to put in entire weeks? Coincidently, it always seems to be the same house that’s available).

In the meanwhile, though, Thirdhome has made at least USD 3-4,000 in fees off my house, while I have to pay the cleaning, heating etc. For example, for the group I had in winter heating costs were $200-300 for the week and cleaning a similar amount.

At the same time, Thirdhome is charging $295 in membership fees PLUS $500-1400 per exchange that you make with your points.

Thirdhome told me two years ago they were onboarding a lot of new properties. They convinced me to hang on but the promises have been just words with nothing to show for it.

My points are expiring soon and I will leave with a great deal of disappointment. I have had exchange guests who did have a better experience, but I think you have to be able to travel off seasons and to the US and the Caribbean to make use of the points.
