Scam/fraud?

Scam/fraud?
Impossible to contact this "charity". With great difficulties l left with/delivered iStuff at /to Workventures Alexanderia (hopeless address details given). Doubt horrifically that donations will ever reach those for whom intended. No receipt/acknowledgement given. Strongly suggest giving donations elsewhere. Tim 0422 083 111

Bodcare, a scam??

On 3/8 they accept an order and take your money.

After unanswered enquires on 23/8 get an email:

“… we had an unexpected family emergency.
We're temporarily out of [stock], but the good [!!!] news is a new batch is expected in about two weeks …”

Avis absolutely horrible, Never again

Avis absolutely horrible. Never again. Waited (at Nice France airport) in a queue of 5 for over an hour to get "pre-booked" car. 2 others in the queue had found major problems with cars rented the previous day. We (so called "Preferred"!!) had asked for BMWX3 (or similar vehicle), we wanted height so as to "see" "foreign" roads/traffic more easily and also didn't want wide car. After an hours wait we were told that there was nothing available other than a huge (wide & long) Volvo [V60 84]. The NAV didn't work properly. There were many other issues with the car. Avis ruined our holiday.

We had already decided on:
a particular Herman Miller Embody desk chair;
particular
colours (black) for frame, arms, base, trim & castors, etc.
seat fabric and colours (Medley Chutney [2130] or burgundy)
and we had gone to Living Edge in Alexandria Sydney (on 15/3) to purchase or order same "there & then".

When we got there, it was confusing & difficult to enter the showroom.
Three assistants. None of them greeted, or even acknowledged our presence. More importantly, none of them offered to help.
We ourselves found where the Herman Miller stuff was displayed.
When we then approached a nearby assistant he didn't even look up or acknowledge us, or greet us, or ask if he could offer help, or even if we wanted help.
He appeared just too busy looking at a screen on his desk.
Eventually he paid us attention and offhandedly showed us the chair (all black) and said that it was the only Herman Miller Embody desk chair available (even from/.through the German manufacturer). His attitude was take it or leave it", it's in stock, there is no other!

Subsequently we found exactly what we wanted (colours and fabric) at two places online.

Suggest that you rather look at/use/buy from:
Seated (by far the best: 37 available fabric colours!)
or
Sit Back Relax

Horrific! Avoid! Rather use geeks2u

Horrific! Avoid, use one of the many other & better services, e.g. geeks2u.
Airtasker is/offer a lousy service. Airtasker take your money. Airtasker only credit a portion of what you've paid when task not performed. Airtasker keep & do not credit you with the Airtasker fee already levied/debited against your credit card. Doubt if I'll ever get even the alleged credit.

Independent Living Specialists are just bad

Independent Living Specialists are not to be trusted. I ordered and paid for delivery of a special chair for my retuning husband after open-heart by pass surgery. Inexplicable texts confirming; then postponing delivery. Calls not answered, no response to emails. There are many other much better suppliers. Use them and save your loved one & yourself heartache.

Avoid Grindr

Purchased "top" level subscription. Suspended without a reason being offered. Waiting a long time to hear result of appeal against suspension. Meantime lost everything, past contacts, messages (including exchanged email addresses and numbers and pictures), details of favourites, contacts. In my view "not guilty" of anything. Trying to get refund of remaining payment (originally was for a year, six moths left) unsuccessful/unavailable. Just rob you. Lousy service, think thrice!!
