The absolute worst airline in the WORLD and I travel a lot

I paid for a hold option for a seat for my grandson on a flight to Italy for a charge of £5 then try to pay the balance on line which you cannot , then you cannot check the flight details because it does not work, the confirmatory email from BA did not include the return flight and then customer services in INDIA tell me that because the flight on hold is not in my name they cannot complete the booking without my grandson present WHO IS AT UNIVERSITY!!!
Despite the fact that BA have a note of my Credit card with my name on it!!!!
They are now the absolute worst airline in the world to deal with

Not for me

This was our first vacation with Sandals and our last. Having had our first week in a much smaller hotel in Barbados we checked in to our pre-paid room in the main Mediterranean building. Within 24 hours I noticed a pool of water in the toilet area. I saw that water was running down 2 walls. The front desk informed me within half an hour that there was a problem 3 floors up and it was being fixed. When we returned to our room in late afternoon, it had not been fixed and worse, there was another deluge dripping in the bedroom area.
People at the front desk seemed to think there was no urgency to either visit or attend the room until I started shouting that we needed a room change immediately. Fortuitously, one of the senior managers came out and visited the room and agreed we should change the room. I asked if we could change to the Caribbean side, which I realised was much quieter and to be fair to the management a room was found which was much superior (Caribbean Honeymoon Suite) and they provided me with a US$200 voucher in compensation for the upheaval. Trevorne was very helpful.
The plus points were the food, which was excellent in all restaurants. The beach if you like to spend all day getting burnt and bored. “Entertainment” varied but have to say that some of it verged on the banal with constant music being blasted out over the Mediterranean Pool.
The negative points. Service at times patchy, both in restaurants, room servicing (why did I have to keep asking for things when a normal hotel would always replenish when servicing the room), poor maintenance (had to request a number of times for the outside stairs light to be fixed and on the last day the basin plug became stuck).

Worst Customer Service Ever

Paid a deposit of £500 for a new Volvo XC40, gave a bad review of the Sales process and then was informed by the dealer that I should pick the car up from somewhere else because their rating had gone from 1 to 96.
Absolutely unbelievable way to treat customers on the part of Volvo and the dealer who I will not shame here.
On reflection and having read reviews here perhaps I should be grateful to the dealer from saving me from buying a Volvo if this is the way they treat people.

Now bought my wife an Audi Q3 instead.

Never Again a latest model Sony Smart TV 2…

Never again
Bought a latest model Sony Smart TV 2 weeks ago from Richer Sounds. What a mistake that was. Cannot receive programme index and “Customer Service” in EGYPT is staffed by persons with not a complete grasp of the English language.
To be fair to Richer Sounds they are trying to resolve the issues by sending out one of their experienced engineers but I have put them on notice that the TV is not of merchantable quality and it will go back if not fixed and if so I will not be replacing it with another Sony set.

I will never buy anything in John Lewis…

I will never buy anything in John Lewis again. Customer service is appalling not helped by dealing with customer service in South Africa. Ordered a TV and spent a considerable sum and then decided to retain our existing set so asked for a credit for £25 (disposal charge) to be informed that I would have to cancel the whole order. RIDICULOUS.
Now going to purchase from Richer Sounds

Terrible and have complained to both…

Terrible and have complained to both Ringo and the local council about it. Cannot now book consecutive days at the station car park in my name because the day before charge is still operative at 6.15 in the morning so you have to wait now for that to expire.
Yet I can book parking by phone or rather ridiculously my wife’s Ringo APP which has both mine and her car on it or pay at the machine, or park the next day in another car park 20 yards away. Ringo says its the councils wish which frankly I do not believe particularly as the max time to book at this car park is 15 hours but it always runs over to the next morning wehn booking on the APP.
Have copied in all email exchanges to Swale Council but will probably never hear from them as they are all busy WFH.

Poor Customer Service

So, I wrote a review yesterday about nobody answering the phone and in response received an acknowledgement asking me to email my phone number, which was done within minutes. Have I received a phone call from them yet 24 hours later-NO, so have tried to call again and finally got through to a receptionist. Let us see if I actually get an answer today and if not will instigate Barrett’s of Canterbury to deal with the warranty claim.
I see their sister branch in Tunbridge Wells receives even more complaints!

Just had an afternoon at Brands Hatch

Just had an afternoon at Brands Hatch. Drove a very tired looking Lamborghini which had marks on the windscreen so that vision was a bit obscured.
Bought a Photos package which was a complete waste of money particularly as it took a huge amount of time trying to find the correct photos upon exit and I was not the only person complaining about the wait and the appalling service.
I get the impression that this company is wanting to sell you add ons one after the other. Would i reccomend-no!
