I volunteered at a non-profit sorting donated books. The sheer volume was an eye-opener. Thrift Books is the perfect solution for me! Why? (1) They always have the titles I seek. (2) I read for content, not a pretty, unread spine on a shelf (although they have those, too). (3) I am over the large corporate book sources and don't get me started on @m@z0n.

Installation at a new home build. What we liked:
1. Install was FAST. The 4' lengths make it very workable and easy to get a nice straight line.
2. The roll top is substantial; this stuff is safer for kids.
3. Formable. It is hefty, but we were able to roll it over a tire to get a nice consistent curve where needed.
4. The 2' lengths with drain holes were PERFECT in our location where the slope away from the house was significant. There will be NO problems with foundation warranty.
5. Quality product Made in USA.
What we did NOT like:
1. NOTE: This was a minor irritation that did not dampen our enthusiasm for this product. More of a "maybe" room for improvement: The clips holding lengths together sometimes separate when being hammered in. If they were a little stiffer material, it may be easier to get a nice, smooth connection all the way down the length of the edging on the first try. That said, it might make it harder to open the clips up to slip down over the joining pieces. They are substantial enough that the separation did NOT deform the clip, so it was straightforward to remove and try again. Any woman that has used a flimsy bobbie pin on thick hair knows what I'm talking about. Unlike a bobbie pin, these clips do NOT get sprung and become useless.

Bottom line: we will recommend this product to anyone who only wants to place edging ONCE (it will last forever) while saving themselves the cost of labor. It's easy to DIY without resorting to the flimsy plastic foreign stuff sold in the big box stores. Professional result.

Ornament was custom engraved and delivered within a couple of weeks. I ordered mid-November in the run up to the holiday season, so I was especially pleased. I got a picture from them of the ornament on the tree. It is larger than expected, substantial and, of greatest importance to me, clearly keepsake quality. They LOVED it! I am glad to have given a USA-made gift that is not flimsy and cheap-looking and they can enjoy for a lifetime. I thank the employees at Wendell Forge for their attention to detail and continuing the tradition of quality items made in the USA.
