Finally won a prize after years of trying. Easy to navigate, easy to pay (too easy perhaps!), great prizes on offer for all tastes. Still aiming to satisfy my petrolhead cravings by winning a classic American. Onwards.

Review of FirstPort
First Port have now reached a new low in appointing Tony Benger Landscaping to desecrate a protected hedge on the Sherborne Corelli development on Thursday 19th October 2023. In doing so they have also exposed barbed wire within the hedge which poses a clear Health and Safety risk and an extreme danger to children. 12 days on, neither First Port nor Tony Benger Landscaping have offered any meaningful explanation or resolution.
No representatives of First Port were on site with Tony Benger Landscaping when this desecration occurred.
Comments from affected residents:
“An idiot with a flailing machine has been let go on it. That hedge is/was full of birds. Even an amateur wouldn’t attack a hedge like that, so the landscaper should be held to task for this”.
“No-one would sign off this vandalism and certainly not pay for it. This isn’t quite the hedge laying we discussed at the recent meeting with Persimmon and First Port”.
“This is exactly what we get when some bureaucratic idiot does a desktop exercise miles away from the estate and who only visits the site “every quarter” if we’re lucky”. In last year’s budget we were charged over £9k, supposedly for “tree works”, which was explained at the meeting two weeks ago to be for the preservation of the hedge. Is this good value or reasonable?”
“It's a crime as far as I'm concerned, and there's no way that contractor should ever be allowed back on site. I'm minded that this is a severe dereliction of duty and care, and First Port are to blame for mismanagement and enabling this to happen”.
“The sooner people who have a vested interest in the development take control of how it is maintained, the better. I’m looking forward to seeing all the dead and sick trees being replaced and the replacements being cared for properly”.
We residents are sick to the back teeth with Persimmon and First Port whose track record shows that they ride roughshod over building and planning regulations and have nothing but contempt for Corelli residents. In the meantime, we suffer the consequences of the poor roads, unfinished pavements, blocked drains and poor lighting on the estate whilst we continue to pay exorbitant service charges to First Port who continue to pay lip service and platitudes to the residents by simultaneously stating that they (First Port) “ cannot instruct the developers to do anything” and “can only request and ask for a timeline, which they may or not be able to supply” and “Please understand that we don’t have any authority over the developer and it is up to them what and when they do anything.”
This is another example among many illustrating the shameful behaviour of both developer and managing agent. Do they care? Clearly not.
