post surgical complication to be aware of

The cataract surgery went well and I had no problems until just after I finished the course of drops. On friday 5th September I started having some pain and weeping and spoke to someone who asked many questions and then told me that it wasnt an emergency but they would see me the following wednesday,10th. 5 days later, on september 8th, the pain was becoming worse and went to specsavers on Monday and they told me to go straight to the eye hospital. The consultant thought it was a scratched cornea but after 2 more days of severe pain I went back and saw another doctor who said it was herpes virus and explained why it can sometimes happen after cataract surgery. If I had been seen when I first reported the problem I would have been able to avoid many days of pain. I think that if a patient reports problems they should be seen as an emergency by whoever performed the operation or at least be advised to go to the eye hospital. I am now fearful of losing the sight of the affected eye.

Disappointed

I came to the Bristol shop last Tuesday but was unable to return shoes which were the wrong size. I believe you were dealing with a flood.Unfortunately I will now have to make another trip or pay for the return postage.

Caveat emptor

I broke down close to home last Sunday and was kept waiting for over 2 hours. The person I spoke to was very apologetic but I see that Ive been charged £20 in spite of the fact that I wasn't rescued within the promised time frame.

I ordered a swienty replacement hood…

I ordered a swienty replacement hood for my 5 year old suit. When it arrived the zip didn't fit. I contacted the company and they said they would contact Swienty. I was then told that the hood didn't fit because the zip had been changed. I returned it and was told that I would have to pay for the postage both ways as the item wasn't faulty. Considering they didn't initially know what the issue was, I thought it rather strange that the customer would be expected to do so. I am now £17 out of pocket and will spread the word among the beekeepers I know.

Customer ordered the incorrect item, and as per our T&Cs the postage for non faulty items are returned at the customers cost, we’re a small family run business who can’t afford to take the hit on everything customers order incorrectly.

Warning!

On August 27th I bought an item from this company with PayPal. Almost immediately after confirmation of the purchase I had an email saying that the amount would be refunded. Unfortunately this took several days to happen and I had to spend quite a lot of time trying to find out what had happened.
