Just do what you say you are going to do
I ordered items on a Sunday with delivery on the following Tuesday. DPD failed to even attempt delivery, then they continue to mislead me as to where the parcel was and kept promising it would be delivered. This happened almost daily and It wasn't delivered. Raised it with ASOS too and they 'investigated' which was the same result - but no follow-up after that. I still hadn't received my order a week later and I was promised on the support chat that a replacement order would be sent out if the carrier could not deliver. however, when I checked in the following day I was advised that only a refund would be processed. I was able to see that some of my order was still available online but I had to really push to get the discount I had on my previous order. Truly I would have been happy with a like-for-like order and even happier if they had just done what they literally promised they would do, which was to send a replacement order. just be upfront and honest and don't over promise if you can't deliver. I've been given the run around by both DPD and ASOS and left feeling frustrated, lied to and disappointed. If this was handled better from the start, I wouldn't have to keep wasting my time finding out what happened to the parcel and I could have had all of the items I ordered. I used to love shopping with ASOS but this really puts me off.
