Amazing Paula

Paula was amazing; we had a home visit for a prenatal DNA. I was so nervous but she was so lovely and made myself and other half feel extremely comfortable. Everything was professional but also extremely friendly! Thank you so much Paula xxxx

Sorry wouldn’t recommend.

I booked a party of 23 children for my daughters 8th birthday party. We was told to arrive for 11:45 to start bowling for 12. At 12pm the names hadn’t been entered into the system to start bowling. 12:10pm we managed to start bowling but was told we only had 2 lanes with 23 children which is impossible/ridiculous! We was then given 4 lanes.

The children all managed to bowl and we seated the children ready for food at 1:15pm.
At 1:45pm there was still no food, at this point parents are coming to collect their children as we were meant to finishing bowling at 1pm.

1:50pm the food started coming out, and it was all burnt. Not acceptable for a child to eat.
They agreed to re-cook, 2pm no food.
The food started to come out in drips and drabs.
Some children had finished before some children even got their food & probably even got home!
We spoke to the a colleague who thought it was rather funny and he was quite smug, we then asked to speak to the manager.

The manager explained there was only 1 staff remember trained to the kitchen; which is absolutely ridiculous when they had 5 members of staff stood behind the reception drinking coke and hugging & 2 birthday parties. How can you run 2 birthday parties and general public’s food off 1 kitchen staff member. The manager went on to offer me a refund of £58. By the time the last 2 children got their food there was 6 children left. Which means my daughter missed out on her cake & people singing to her. This is definitely not the kitchen members fault, I actually feel rather sorry for him to be put under that sort of pressure!! Instead of staff members standing around talking, drinking and hugging. Train them up it takes 40 minutes for a level 2 hygiene (which I know myself)

I spoke to the member of staff in the kitchen and he said they’d books 2 parties at the same time which is ridiculous and wasn’t able to manage it all but because we finished after the other party we had to wait for him to feed 24 children from another party even though we had pre ordered, paid etc…

£58 for a 8 year old who missed out on the whole birthday party experience of cake & singing is ridiculous when I paid nearly £300!

There was signs on the table ‘best party ever’ I removed these as it was rather embrassing & definitely not the ‘best party ever’ All the parents couldn’t believe how disgusting the service, how it was run & customer service was. I would never recommended anyone to Hollywood bowl for a party.

The staff I dealt with personally looked like they couldn’t care, which is absolutely fine but not when it’s my daughter party!!! I have taken this further with customer services, it is the weekend which means offices are closed but I’ve sent an email and will be calling first thing Monday. Been told the £58 is all they’ll refund which is an absolute joke for what we had to deal with. Do not book

Would like to avoid any parent and child feeling how myself and my daughter feel.
