The price of this comprehensive policy was almost £175 less than my previous insurers latest annual cost. The policy included add ons that were included at no extra charge. I had never heard of Dial direct prior to using compare the market's comparison web site. What helped me choose to move insurers was that Dial direct are covered by Axa, which I was aware of. My only hiccup was trying to get to their call centre to ask a couple of questions. It took me 3 attempts before I finally got through which worried me. However their response was courteous and helpful.

As an older customer I had unforseen difficulties signing in on computer which really frustrated me. My real preference is over the phone but even that was automated.

The end product looked good and was equal to our expectation for the price.
The positives were: excellent delivery within 3 days of order. The item was well packaged and the assembly instructions were mostly easy to follow.
The negatives were: most parts were composite board and not wood. There were 24 screws (B) short which was due to a count error on your assembly sheet ; on item 10 two screw holes were too close to the edge causing stress and splitting of the board; there was paint flaking damage on two corners of the top board item 1 which looked to be process and not delivery and will need touch up.
