I forgot to submit my meter readings for the end of the year calculations, and they charged me close to 1500 euros based on their "predicted consumption calculations". I live in a 1 person household of 42 square meters and have a good energy label (C). And this doesn't even include the constant price increases they suggested and that I agreed to. So obviously I was shocked, since I never encountered something like this in any of the energy companies I worked with before.

I reached out and gave them my meter readings, and it turns out that they need to return the ENTIRE amount they took from my bank account, only a month later. What if I really needed this money?

Quite a reckless and irresponsible behavior in my opinion, needless to say I will never have a contract with this company ever again.

Customer service difficult to reach

Horrible customer service. I used to like Whoppah but after the recent purchase I'm not going to use this website ever again. The couch that I purchased turned out to be too large to take inside the apartment, and it had more defaults than was advertised. Don't believe them when they say their collection is curated. It's not curated, basically anyone can post and the seller of the couch didn't properly post the stains of the couch even after I asked for them.

Now I'm trying to reach them via mail and whatsapp but they aren't getting back to me, even when I indicate that my case is urgent. The couch is literally sitting in the hallway of my building, blocking other neighbors. Stay away from this company.

UPDATE - 31st of May

This issue was resolved in a very professional and thoughtful manner by the customer service. So I'm going to adjust my review. But it was resolved only after I rented a car to drive to their warehouse in Utrecht and demand for someone to speak to. It's a pity that they don't have a phone number you can call for urgent cases like mine.

They love claiming they are the best…

They love claiming they are the best internet provider in the netherlands, I don't know what they are basing this claim on but it's completely untrue.

I signed up for ziggo because I needed the higher internet speed for working from home and they were running a campaign at the time. But they kept mixing up my order so many times and sent me the wrong package. I had to call numerous times to fix this and it's still wrong!

And now I'm being told I'm being charged the full price instead of the promotion price because I changed my order! I had to change it because they kept getting my original wrong! So I'm basically paying for their mistake and now they say I can't change anything due to the yearly contract.

Run from this company like the plague and save your money.
