Very poor customer service
I visited B&Q weston super mare and purchased a light fitting and 4 G9 bulbs , at home only one bulb worked , the following day I returned and was given replacement bulbs . Once again only one worked , two days later I again returned this time for a bulb cost refund , I then discovered that I only had the three faulty bulbs and had inadvertently retained the one working bulb . The assistant refused me a full refund as I only had three bulbs I apologised but pointed out that I had now made two extra trips , costing me diesel fuel for 40 miles as well as an extra 2.5 hours of my time , the assistant was not at all sympathetic and said he would give me a credit note , I explained I did not want a credit note but a refund and then asked to see a manager , she duly arrived , completely ignored me , no hullo can I help you sir , no apology just tapped buttons on the till screen and walked of , I have had to accept a refund for three bulbs . Is this B&Qs idea of customer satisfaction , well if so I am not impressed . I have since purchased bulbs locally at a lower price and will certainly not recommend B&Q Weston to my friends .
