Scammers giving ridiculous quotes for work that doesn't need doing.
Plumber turned up to diagnose problem with the boiler not working and spent nearly half an hour, mostly on the phone to his office seeking help with finding out what was wrong.Told me it needed a new programmer and would cost £595 +VAT plus the call out fee of £140.Not confident of the ability of this so called expert so declined the estimate. I was then offered £500 +VAT followed by £500 cash ! I declined both and paid the call out charge of £140. Following day my usual plumber returned from holiday and repaired the boiler with a £10 valve and £100 labour. Boiler working fine ever since.
Steer clear of this company ! Wrote a letter of complaint which they ignored.
