Mailbird user for many years.

I have been using and "old" version of Mailbird (2.0) for home use for many years now. It does everything that I require, and probably more.
Recently I had an Installation issue (to another platform) that I couldn't resolve. After contacting customer support my issue was resolved by Diego Martinez who answered my inquiry promptly and efficiently. The solution was easy to implement and worked perfectly.
Both the program and customer service are top notch.

Perfect online shopping experience

Purchased a fridge-freezer at the best price anywhere. Payment was easy and the invoice delivered by email. Delivery was on the date advised and with care. The driver called in advance before arrival. Packaging and the condition of the appliance was excellent.
Overall a perfect online shopping experience.

Top service

From booking to collection Specsavers provided a top service. The whole team in Tooting provided excellent care and attention to detail. The appointment began on time, the eye tests were thorough and the selection of glasses to choose from were numerous. Pricing was excellent, the collection date was accurate and fitting was straightforward.
All the staff were friendly and professional. I'm already looking forward to my next eye test ;-)

Review of Domino's Pizza

Middling to very poor.

This take away and delivery restaurant on Mitcham Road in Tooting is usually adequate. However, today's delivery was middling at best, and in the case of the (vegan) thin Italian crust, very poor. I am guessing that it was cooked for the same period of time as the other, thicker pizzas? The vegetable toppings were barely cooked yet the base was much too crispy and partly burned. The other pizzas were edible, but have been better in the past. I will order elsewhere the next time that I order pizza.

Very poor, and getting worse.

Today was one of many days that an expected parcel delivery from Royal Mail failed to arrive, despite the tracking information. A recent parcel was delivered to a neighbour even though myself and two other members of my family were home. I only found out when I checked the tracking service the next day, hence a two star rating and not a single star.

Great price, great service.

I ordered a Nintendo SWITCH (OLED) which took only 7 business days to arrive, although Royal Mail managed to deliver it next door and failed to inform me, adding an extra day to the delivery.
The packaging was unsealed, as described, in order to place an AC adapter into the box as the unit origin is Japanese (I believe). Everything worked perfectly.
Ordering was simple, email communication was excellent and I was able to use the RM tracking code to trace my parcel to my neighbours, via a photograph.
I was so impressed that I ordered a second SWITCH which is due as I write, Royal Mail permitting.
05/08/2023 - Royal Mail failed me yet again, adding an extra day to delivery, but Techinthebasket.com remain a 5* service in my opinion following two excellent experiences. Second SWITCH arrived just like the first.

Non existant Click & Collect and poor customer service

I ordered a Nintendo SWITCH game on 21st July, given the impression that it could be collected from Sainsbury's the next day. The confirmation email stated "Your item should be available from… 9:00am on Sat 22 July". It didn't happen.
The order had still not arrived by 31st July when I rang customer services. I was told that I would be refunded points in full and a voucher would be reinstated (I paid with Nectar points and a voucher) within 48 hours.
That hasn't happened either. At the time of writing I have no game and no refund.
03/08/23 - Argos replied to my review and asked me to contact them via "links" to Twitter and Facebook, none of which I have an account with.

Dreadful delivery from Tooting.

Received a delivery (via the app) from the Tooting (South London) branch that was simply dreadful. The order was an item short, the fries were lukewarm (at best) and the "chocolate" shake went down the sink. It was both insipid and runny.
However, my complaint to a freephone UberEats number was dealt with very efficiently. I was refunded for the whole meal minus the delivery fee. The delivery itself also deserves praise. Despite a downpour it was speedy and (mostly) dry.
Also, the McDonalds app has to be reinstalled after each use.

Good job.

My delivery arrived a day earlier than originally quoted.
Pre delivery communication by email and text was excellent.
The courier (who waited for me to answer my front door, I was in the back garden) was within the time frame, polite and pleasant.
To summarise, the service was exactly what I would expect.

The return was collected 2 days later, within the daily timescale, and the replacement was delivered at the same time. I couldn't have been happier with such excellent service. Thank you.

Having received my second Kaydian bed delivery from Better Bed Company within the last 6 months (today's only took 2 days) I can only say that I have been provided with nothing short of outstanding service. From providing the best prices, great customer service (thanks to Lee & Meg) and top class delivery, Better Bed Company receive top marks from me. I wouldn't buy a bed anywhere else.

Called Towergate today to cancel Unoccupied insurance after selling the unoccupied property.
After 30 minutes on the phone I'm still waiting for someone to be available. I may still be waiting as you read this. I will obviously never obtain insurance via Towergate again.
