Surprisingly good service
We noticed that our inverter was regularly disconnecting from our WiFi, following a router change. This culminated in it dropping out completely.
We phoned the helpdesk and after waiting 30 minutes, the call was cleared so not a great start.
A little sceptical, we then used the instant messaging service, which was actually surprisingly helpful. They emailed some instructions to get reconnected, which were a little confusing. However, after trial and error we managed to work it out and get reconnected.
However, we still noticed that the inverter was not charging the battery as expected despite being configured correctly in the app. Using examples in the app, we emailed details of the issues to GivEnergy. We received a response the following day to say they had resolved the issue and to date, we are happy to confirm that remains the case.
