Comfortable, stylish backed with great service

I have had a number of pairs of Ons over the years and they are the most comfortable sport shoes I have had, along with the cool look that you don't get with some of the more ubiquitous brands.

Since they are our go to brand for sports shoes, recently we have bought a few pairs for various members of family.

Delivery was very fast, the turnaround between order and delivery no more than four days; in one instance, just two.

Due to inconsistency in widths between different models, although having the same size we've had to make some returns and exchanges.

The whole return process was free, effortless and quick. On top of which, the refund to my credit card was equally speedy.

We were kept up to date with immediate and regular emails both after ordering and returning.

Finding the right fit makes the shoes as good as they have ever been and I have no hesitation in recommending them for quality, looks and service.

A reliable company providing an excellent service.

Clearbusiness has handled my telecoms for a number of years.

The equipment that was provided for both my telephone services and wi-fi were of good quality and so intuitive to use that after initial set up, I never had to refer to the instruction manual again.

Only on two occasions did I have to contact customer services.

The first on a connectivity issue was quickly resolved with one quick phone call.

The other, more recently, took two phone calls before Chloe, the Expert Centre Specialist contacted me via email and resolved the incident immediately.

I have no hesitation in recommending Clearbusiness and giving this company five stars, in spite of the two minor issues, which in the scheme of things, considering the number of years I have been with them is a very good batting average.

A roller coaster of monthly bills with no real right of appeal

A Chinese friend moved into a property and switched her energy supplier from OVO to Octopus but didn't realise she had only switched the electricity, so OVO continued to charge her for gas.

After receiving a final notice she asked me to query this for her, due to her limited English.

The range of monthly bills were £41.58, £55.31, £113.98, £65.34 and the most recent one for the period of 17 days, £6.53 - the one for £65.34 was for the month that the property was empty and energy used only to keep the temperature ticking over.

Querying this inconsistency, I was told by the representative, Mel, that the accuracy of the smart meter could be checked for the cost of £157 and only if it was found to be inaccurate would it be refunded.

Talk about marking your own homework.

The one star is for Mel's patience and appreciating that he could do only what company policy allows, not for OVO.

Barely existent customer service and limited communication even before booking.

Late Sunday night, December 15th, I started booking for the O2 Paul McCartney concert on the following Wednesday.

I decided to wait until the following morning to complete. but before doing so had a call from Seatsnet to ask the reason for the delay.

I asked the rep the reason for the poor Trustpilot reviews, to which she replied that people rarely compliment when things go right but are only too willing to criticise when they don't.

Understanding human nature, I found that not unreasonable so continued with my booking. On the payment page some of the instructions were in Chinese.

Although I was able to understand what it said, I started to doubt how reliable a payment method and website it is.

Over those two days I received 15 WhatsApps telling me that there was limited availability and if I needed assistance to WhatsApp them back, which I did several times with no reply.

I phoned twice with no replies; separately I was phoned by them and when I replied was hung up on.

Today, less than three hours before the concert, I had a phone call to answer my queries.

After explaining how late it was to attend, the rep very understandingly said hopefully they could make it up to me at a later date.

Right up to 10 minutes before the concert I had a WhatsApp to say that tickets were limited but still available. Even if I lived next door to the O2, I would not have been able to get there in time.

After this experience and the poor quality of service and communication before any money changed hands, what would it be like after they had my money?

I would not consider using them, especially if their legitimacy has been called in to question by a number of other reviewers.

This year I have bought tickets through Viagogo and Ticketmaster and although a lot more expensive, there was a line of communication when I needed to check as to when my tickets would arrive. Better to have expensive tickets than cheap tickets that may not arrive as the result of a scam.

Best delivery experience and communication of best quality items

The items I ordered were of very good quality and the price would have been reasonable at full price; at sale price even better.

The wait between ordering and delivery was less than a week.

I had no issues with the pickup from my local Yodel pickup point or the return because I had ordered a size too large.

The emails I had notifying me of delivery and receipts of the returned item were very prompt.

The refund to my credit for the returned item was very fast - the fastest I have experienced from any company I have bought from.

Mojo continue to impress with the quality of product and service

Once again buying a pair of glasses from Mojo has been an effortless experience.

A wide choice of brands and prices but all of great quality.

Although I don't expect them to arrive as quickly as usual because of the Christmas New Year holiday period, their representative, Ryan, has kept me up to date with regular emails.

As on previous occasions after buying from them, I am impressed with the way they have maintained their standard of service.

Great product and equally great aftersales service

Just bought a pair of Birkenstock Bend lace up shoes from Schuh's online site.

The shoes as well as being stylish, seeming to go with everything formal or casual, were reasonaby priced and the after-sales service is excellent.

I had a delivery enquiry, using the live chat with Annah I was kept up to date and my query was answered and resolved in just one live chat.

Once again as with all my previous purchases from Schuh, the delivery was fast, quality of product and service is excellent and I would have no hesitation in buying from them again and recommending them.

Replying to my negative review of Monday, March 6th, 2023, I received a stock reply from 24/7 Home Rescue, the same one they seem to send all less than favourable reviews; that they are sorry for the delay, it is not what they aim for and will make sure it doesn't happen again and the matter will be passed on to the complaints team.

Since my complaint was not about a delay, it shows they neither actually read the review nor care.

This review is not about a delay either but expect the same stock reply.

A very reasonable priced plan for boiler care as long as your boiler is new and you don't need a call out.

Between my family and I we have four different plans with 24/7.

When setting them up, the price sounded very reasonable but when having to make a claim we were told that because the boilers were of a certain age there would be an excess charge of £95 per callout.

Asking about this I was told that for an additional monthly premium I could go for a no excess policy. (A hidden extra?)

In the case of another boiler in another property; on call out I was told that it was beyond economical repair and 24/7 could replace it but the premium would have to be increased quite significantly, in spite of what would be a brand new boiler.

The day before the agreed replacement, I received a call to tell me that because the engineer was not a joiner, he could not refit the boxing that the boiler is in, so in short I would have to pay for someone to tidy up after him.

When taking out the agreement, I was told there would only any be any extra expense, if any pipe work had to be changed but since it was only a swap of like for like of a wall mounted combi boiler, this was not likely.

Although their prices are lower than for a British Gas Homecare plan any such savings would be wiped out after a few claims - in this instance I wish I had looked a gift horse in the mouth and not accepted.

Prompt and efficient service.

I bought my first pair of online Bally shoes a few weeks ago that turned out to be bit on the big side.

There were no smaller sizes available in that style, so I had to return them.

The communication with Fiona at customer services was remarkably prompt and thorough.

My return of the shoes was effortless and I received the refund back on my credit card equally effortlessly and promptly, which is more than can be said for many other companies.

What made the whole process even more impressive was that it was on a return, rather than an actual sale; I look forward to my next purchase from them.

Highly recommended to me by two people…

Highly recommended to me by two people in the same area I live, I placed my first order for a specific date but did not receive it and received no communication to say that it would not be delivered so waited in the whole day.

When I did ring to tell them about this the following day, the representative was very polite and apologetic and offered to send it that same day.

I refused the offer because the flowers would arrive two days late, however the cancelling of my subscription was effortless.
