delivered to wrong address

Easy ordering but delivered to wrong house despite having the correct address. Photo taken of delivery and pin point showed wrong road, fortunately house owner took them to correct address

Great customer service and price

I wasn’t sure about this company as not heard of it and their price was a lot less (sale price) than others. However, my queries were answered very efficiently and my product arrived quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate using this company again

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Chap turned up to clean my oven, armed with a bucket and single spray bottle. Didn't know how to remove the door or seals so had to clean these myself. He spent about 20 minutes supposedly cleaning the oven and put all the "cleaned" racks in, only to have dirty brown grease drip all down the oven. Racks were left so greasy that you couldn't wash it off your hands. He broke one of the side racks trying to put it back in the wrong way, I had to show him how to do it! I. went to use my oven later only to find the inside was awash with dark brown grease everywhere and was dirtier than it was when he arrived. Spent 2 hours cleaning the oven and trying to de grease the kitchen and now can't use the oven unless you enjoy brown grease on your food. Telephoned and complained and sent photos only to be told they agreed it was unacceptable but they wouldn't refund my money and would only send the same man round to redo it. No chance of that happening as my dog would be more competent! Rubbish company, incompetent cleaner and appalling customer service

Review Update

Following an honest and poor review of WhiteStores customer service, I was contacted by Alex soon after, who diligently managed to resolve the problem and even offered to personally assist so that I could have my furniture delivered and useable as soon as possible. Mark and Tom from HWC were brilliant, polite and friendly and went over and above to help. Shame that it took a poor review to get the service that should have been given from day one but credit deserved by these 3

Order from Whitestores at your peril

Order from Whitestores at your peril. First order was for 4 items,of which when delivered, 1 item was so damaged the couriers refused (quite rightly) to leave it, 1 item was missing, 1 item was not as described leaving only 1 which was correct. Needless to say, I sent the whole order back but then had to argue with and be subject to verbal abuse from a customer service representative to have my money refunded!!

Spoke to customer service manager who sorted the refund and assured me all would be good if I reordered (different items). Ordered and paid for back in June with delivery by early August. Heard nothing but saw the items were in stock several weeks ago so telephoned only to be told they had "overlooked" my order and would prioritise it immediately and get it despatched from the warehouse to the couriers that day. Telephoned the following day to be told the items were still in the warehouse and as it was the weekend, nothing could be done but delivery would definitely be by Wednesday. Today is Tuesday and received email yesterday to say would be delivered within the next 4 - 7 working days

Appalling after sales service (can't fault shop sales staff) and don't seem to be bothered about customers after they've got your money and kept it for 2 months without delivering anything despite it being in stock

Had to cancel 2 family events as had no furniture to sit on and borrow money whilst waiting for my initial refund

Dreadful service & still waiting for refund

Ordered a large sack of dog food and when it arrived it was not what I ordered. Upon querying this, I was advised that the one I ordered was no longer available from the supplier and I should have been told when ordering. I asked to return it and a collection date was arranged. The driver never turned up. After having to arrange another collection (and having to send several e-mails to chase this up), I then had to check that they had received it as I would not be refunded until that point (they did not contact me). I was advised it had been received and they would process my refund, after waiting nearly 2 weeks with no refund, I then had to contact them again only to be told it had been received several days before and they would pass it onto their accounts team to process the refund (a different story to what I had been told previously). I am still waiting for my refund and although they have given an apology, no explanation has been provided. Will not use this company again
