Unfair Rejections, Rude Customer Service, and No Transparency
I’ve been a verified tour operator and long-standing partner with GetYourGuide through my first company, and our collaboration had always been professional — until I opened my second tour company. Since then, my listings have been repeatedly rejected for vague “policy disputes,” with no explanation of what policies were supposedly broken.
After countless messages to support — including interactions with a representative, who was unhelpful and outright rude — I still haven’t been told what I need to fix. I’ve always followed every guideline, provided exceptional guest experiences, and maintained a perfect record of professionalism, yet I continue to receive the same copy-pasted responses.
It’s clear this platform does not support transparency or small business fairness. To make matters worse, I’ve discovered a potential conflict of interest involving the company’s leadership operating another business that duplicates client tours as app-based versions — including my own.
Small, independent operators deserve fair treatment and honest communication. Until GetYourGuide improves their integrity, I cannot recommend them to other businesses.
