Review of Housing Ombudsman

Over 1.5 years and still no resolution — system clearly broken


I raised a complaint about Southwark Council which was then referred to the Housing Ombudsman, and it’s now been more than 1.5 years — yet I’m still waiting for a resolution.

The only update I’ve received is a standardised response stating:

> “Your case is awaiting allocation to an adjudicator. We hope to investigate your complaint soon, but as the length of time each investigation will take is hard to predict, it is hard to give a more accurate timeframe at this point.”



It’s extremely difficult to believe that 99% of cases are resolved within 12 months, as they claim. This clearly doesn’t reflect the reality many complainants are facing.

There has been no progress, no clear timeline, and absolutely no sense of urgency. After such a long delay, it’s hard not to feel that the complaints process is failing those it’s meant to protect.

I recently purchased an hard cover book…

I recently purchased an hard cover book that I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing.

**Content Quality:**
Out of the 190 pages, only 16 pages contained personalized information relevant to the subject matter. The majority of the content appears to be compiled from publicly available sources, which I found to be misleading given the product's description.

**Customer Service:**
After realizing the e-book did not meet my expectations, I requested a full refund. The seller promised to respond within one working day, but two weeks later, I have yet to receive any communication from them. This lack of response has left me feeling frustrated and concerned about the legitimacy of the transaction.

**Privacy Concerns:**
I also have concerns regarding the collection of personal information during the purchasing process, as it feels like a potential scam rather than a legitimate business.

Due to these issues, I have contacted my bank to dispute the transaction. I hope that others considering this e-book will take my experience into account.

**Conclusion:**
I would not recommend this e-book based on my experience. If you're looking for valuable content, I suggest exploring other options.

Courier faking signature

The delivery was left outside the property without handover and then the courier faked the signature that the item was handed over.
