FEDEX enables internal FRAUD
I wish I could give 0 stars!!! I bought a watch from MVMT (a Movado Company) for ~$185. It was sent to me via FEDEX. When I received it, I decided to return the watch. I printed a return FEDEX label from MVMT, packaged the watch, and dropped the package at a FEDEX location in Los Angeles. The return label from the MVMT site clearly reads that the package was to be shipped to the MVMT facility in Voorhees NJ. Well the package was sent to a residential address in Boston MA. I filed a a claim with FEDEX because they clearly delivered the package to the wrong address. FEDEX denied my claim. FEDEX says that in order to consider my claim I have to go to the FEDEX location where the package was dropped and find out from a FEDEX employee why the delivery address was changed. That does not make any sense. I did what In was supposed to do as the sender and FEDEX did not as the delivery company. Why would I have to investigate a FEDEX location to find out why the delivery address was changed and how exactly would I go about conducting this investigation. FEDEX has no answers for me. The agent on the phone was just reading from a script. So, a FEDEX clearly will not take responsibility delivering the package to the wrong address or finding out why the delivery address was changed in-house while the package was in their care. This is clearly a case of internal FRAUD and FEDEX is condoning it. So now I do not even have the watch or the ~$185 I paid for it. Please beware of doing business with this fraudulent company. I never will again!!!
