Unauthorized Charge After Cancellation – Misleading Practices
I subscribed to Ultiself on June 10, 2025, for a 3-month plan costing $15.94 USD. On July 21, 2025, I emailed the company to cancel my subscription – well before the next billing cycle. Despite my timely cancellation, on August 5, 2025, Ultiself charged me $79.72 USD.
This $79 charge does not match any of their actual subscription plans (3 months = $24.99, 1 year = $46.99, lifetime = $69.99). They later sent me a fake “example” screenshot with PayPal and Google Pay options – payment methods that were not available when I subscribed.
Their actions show deceptive billing and misrepresentation of their pricing. Even after providing proof, they refused to refund me, claiming “policy” – despite my cancellation being 16 days before the charge.
I have filed a complaint with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and initiated a Visa chargeback. I do not recommend this app – beware of misleading charges and unhelpful support.
