I have booked hotels in India from this website twice. Found it relatively easier to navigate through the website (numerous options of hotel listing) and arrive at a booking decision. Like the way they show multiple room options (room types + meals) for a hotel. Though they show lower prices on website (compared to other websites, in reality they charge more), they play with pricing a lot even for an individual user (e.g. showing lower prices for the same hotel to a new account vs repeat user).

Additionally, their post booking experience is significantly poor. In both the cases, when I asked for a response from the hotel that I booked, they were not able to talk to the manager at hotel and we were left in uncertainty. They show prices in INR, take payment in USD and during actual payment charge an amount higher than the booking amount (kind of hidden charge). Overall, I would suggest to check the hotel options on agoda but book from another website (not recommended for hotel booking).

Not every person, you are going to meet on the website, is in the mindset to marry. From this perspective, expect to meet a mixed crowd here. Most profiles are parent led with fewer self managed profiles. With no verification process from shaadi.com's team, rely on your wisdom to trust people on the platform. Though, there is an option to take paid help from the team to filter out and initiate conversations on your behalf, but I would suggest you to do it on your own. Overtime it helped me learn how to filter out non serious profiles faster and focus on desired profiles.

I was managing my own profile while looking to meet the right girl and used to receive regular connect requests. Few profile pointers that helped - write a custom introduction (not the standard lines available on the website), upload 5+ photos, and mention earnings (if working). I never took a paid plan (used to connect through chat feature) and wouldn't suggest to buy a short term paid plan (1 month or 3 month) in case you are planning to buy one.

While sending connect requests, I found the standard filter options on the website helpful to reach the desired set of profiles. Also, I used the weekly mails (e.g. new premium members who joined, profiles near you, profiles who visited your profile) to check if there is someone who I would like to connect with, without the need to repeatedly login into the online account.

Overall, even though the website design wasn't intuitive, it worked well for me and I was able to find the type of crowd I was aiming to connect with. Not sure about the customer service, provided team members who approached me to discuss paid members' profiles never used to follow up.

Coming from a non tech background, it gets overwhelming when my laptop faces a software issue. Recently, I got stuck while updating to OS Monterey. After reading various help articles on internet, scheduled a call with apple support for my out of warranty 13inch MacBook Air. Was surprised to get a call on time and got connected to a fairly competent support person within minutes (acceptable waiting time).

The person reassured that s/he would call back in case call disconnects in between (such a relief!). We started discussing the problem and were able to close all the issues over 3 calls. Though I connected to 3 different support people, we were able to avoid repeated recitation of case history using case id notes (case id: 101553982075). These were long calls (30 min+) and all of them were patient, calm and reassuring. Though the technical competence varied among the 3 people but they were able to figure things out.

All this at no additional charge (rare in India). Overall a good option to take a view and understand the intensity of your problem before visiting an offline service centre (if required).

I had ordered from this website only once. I couldn't find the product anywhere else and hence, had to order here even though the entire buying experience is quite shady (similar to fake websites).

The customer experience is extremely poor - can't track order once paid, no delivery date provided, customer care respond only over email, no refunds policy, no cash on delivery options and hence, order at your own risk. I received my order after 30 days through Indian post.
