Great products, but advertising emails for sold-out items are annoying

First of all, I love your products and what you're doing. But sometimes, you send a marketing email, and once I go to the website, I see that most items are sold out. Also, the same thing happened with the email you sent announcing a new product: once I opened the website, the item was already sold out. I must say that I open emails right away, so there is no case that I missed the email and opened it the next day or something. It happened multiple times, and it looks like a cheap manipulation. Either fill your stock or avoid advertising sold-out items.

Low-quality snacks and super-long delivery time

Facebook ads definitely work: after seeing TokyoTreat ads on Facebook multiple times I decided to give it a try. I subscribed to the service and started waiting for my first package (April box that was shipped on March 9). So, one month had passed, I got a new email confirming that the May box was shipped (I still didn't receive the April box). I contacted the support and they asked me to wait. A tracking number is not an option for TT. So, I waited more, and I totally forgot about TT, and then one more invoice from PayPal and shipping confirmation of the June box. Then I decided to cancel the subscription, contacted the support again and I was asked to wait until the middle of June. A day before the middle of June a miracle happened: I received my April box, and what can I say... Very low-quality snacks, I believe they cost cents and it makes the service super-overpriced. Today, 4th July and I received - May box, that includes another bunch of low-quality snacks. So, before subscribe - consider a one-time subscription, it will help to save your money.

Hi Denis, thank you for the review! We're sorry to hear that you're unsatisfied with the quality of the snacks came in our box and the shipment.

As informed, Surface Mail can take up to 60-90 days to arrive and unfortunately, there's no tracking provided from Japan Post for this option. We're glad to know that the boxes have arrived safely and we can assure you that we'll work harder to provide better quality in both; shipping and contents.

We really appreciate this feedback, thank you so much!
