I invested with HL 4 years ago and today my balance has been close to £500k and I'm £22k up overall.
This equates to a circa 5% increase over the past 4 years I.e 1.2% per year net growth for which I paid £5k for the investment advice (this brings the overall return to less than 4% over 4 years! This is very poor given the overall market performance during this time and doesn't keep up with inflation and yet they still advertise amazing returns circa 38%. This has got to be close to fraud but they still claim credit for any performance such as my own shares etc. Personally I would advise anyone to be very careful as for me they promised much and delivered very little.
