Review of Wren Kitchens
All was ok until we got to the installation, very poor communication with installer, who’s punchline was that’s Wrens issue I don’t work for Wren, even though Wren were responsible for the whole job. All the installer was interested in was trying to get cash in hand extras. They took no pride in their work, left a mess each day when they left site which I had to sweep up. Loads of rubbish left under units , seemed they could not be bothered to clean up before fitting the units after removing the old kitchen. In the end the installer did hoover up one part before fitting the final few base after I said you need to clean up that rubbish before fitting the units. Unfortunately there is still rubbish under a few of the units. Found dishwasher cable trapped under dishwasher foot. If it was not for the fact the installers had ripped out the old kitchen and we were kitchenless I would have kicked them out of my house as they really don’t seem bothered about quality / customer service or cleanliness.
This has been a terrible experience, I expected a lot more for a 25k kitchen.
The installation is not finished yet, still 2 days to go with these cowboys in my house.
I think the snagging will be a long painful process as I’m not paying a penny until everything is perfect.
**Update Friday 4/6/21, just gets better, after agreeing to pay the Wren installers plumber, it turns out the plumber is on holiday today and cannot finish plumbing in the sink or kitchen appliances until Monday, very poor state of affairs, so now I have to try and find a plumber at short notice on a Friday to finish the plumbing so we can use the sink etc over the weekend**
**Update 4/6/21 19:45hrs**
Even after a lengthy conversation with Wren Customers service, Wren fitter has left the kitchen unfinished and will not be returning until Monday afternoon. He has other kitchens to fit over the weekend and a new job starting Monday morning, good to know my job is low on his list of priorities. Have not managed to find a plumber to complete the sink / dishwasher and washing machine plumbing so we are without any running water / sinks in the house apart from the bathroom.
Its like a DIYer has fitted this kitchen, absolute disgrace, Wren need to be more careful who they trust with their brand / image, your fitter has really let you down , its a real shame but I would not able to recommend Wren to anyone who asks in the future
