Today’s marketing email from Kroo is trumpeting their new zero fees facility for foreign transactions (a little late to the party after the likes of Starling & Monza?). It does seem to imply that the ‘No markup from us’ means no additional fees above the conversion fee charged by VISA.
Unfortunately on reading further we learn that this impressive and useful innovation will only be available for a period of a little over two months (until 30th April 2025)!
Better ‘dine out abroad’ very soon.

The team at Octopus Customer Service: Josie, Micheal and James stayed with my problem with on-boarding my EV to Intelligent Octopus, and persevered during an extended email exchange until the problem was successfully sorted.
It is an unfortunate truth that Customer Service from major corporations can often be less than worthless, but the Octopus team are in a different league.
Along with the tariffs and technology, they make Octopus the only supplier worth considering in the market. Thanks.

Guildford branch - eye test completed very professionally and efficiently by Jo and Amandene. We then spent considerable time choosing two pairs of glasses, with help, advice and considerable patience by Amandene. The staff were happy to spend as much time as we needed, and we would have no hesitation in recommending the service unreservedly - thanks. And Jo’s shoes are the best!

Perfectly good service. Items ordered were delivered quickly and efficiently, and well packed. As it happened the items were not as expected and the return and refund was handled very simply and easily.

After REVIVE carried a refurb of all four alloys on a previous occasion, we were completely satisfied with the result. The alloys were returned in as good as new condition, the job was done very quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price. So, when our TESLA suffered double pothole damage resulting in two buckled rims we asked REVIVE to sort them. As expected the car was returned to us in short order with wheels sorted and running smoothly. We would recommend this company unreservedly.
