Be careful when placing more than one order.

Two seperate items orders for delivery to UK. Instead of being shipped as paid for they were put together into one parcel without notice. I should have had two parcels of £90 passing through customs without a charge, but ended up paying an extra £51. All because this retailer wanted to save themselves a couple of minutes work. Contacted them twice via email but both replies contained no apology or refund of second shipping fee, Avoid this company, there are so many better alternatives.

Late delivery

Ordered a Pokémon ETB on Friday 26th August and paid £1.99 for standard delivery. Only despatched on Wednesday 31st August and delivered late this morning on Saturday 3rd September. quickest delivery so far though.. Don’t buy from this site if you need anything promptly.

Could not fulfil promised orders from 13th birthday sale

Ordered a £400 Star Wars Razor Crest 25 minutes after it had been listed on Friday 19th August, I even had to pay the £1.99 delivery charge which is ridiculous on such an expensive order.

The product was shown as in stock for at least 15 minutes after my order had been placed, so Zavvi were still accepting orders from other customers.

Zavvi waited until now, the evening of Wednesday 24th August to tell me they did not have the product in stock and could not fulfil the order. They offered a £5 account credit as an apology.

Sorry Zavvi but this is not good enough. You knew how many of this item you had in stock and advertised having it in advance. You let down customers time and time again and a £5 credit when your delivery charge is £1.99 is just a slap in the face.

Very upset with Zavvi yet again.

Edit - I contacted Zavvi customer support and secured a further £10 credit but I am honestly still am unhappy and there is no sign yet of the £401.98 refund.

Lied to for second time - This time by Stephen, Zavvi CRE

I feel such a fool for trusting this company a second time. After posting a one star review on the 8th August, I was contacted by Stephen, a Customer Relations Executive at Zavvi. I have I posted key parts of his message below.

Basically, I believed him and as soon as I got his message, I made an order at full price. 33% above the price I initially paid. I contacted Stephen immediately after placing the order and despite a full week passing, I have heard absolutely nothing back.

I believe this company engages in fraudulent behaviour and I am now looking to take them to the small claims court.

Please do not trust them with your money, it is really is not worth the hassle. I could have gone to Costco and bought this figure for £120. Instead I paid Zavvi £150 plus £1.99 shipping.

“For the inconvenience caused and as a gesture of goodwill, I would be happy to price match your re-order of the LEGO Icons Optimus Prime, Transformers Robot Model Set and refund any differences to match the original value of this order. I would also be happy to refund any postage costs for the re-order as well.

I will keep an eye on this account and once the re-order is in our system, I will have the above refunds processed for you.”

Company lied in writing

Ordered a Lego Optimus Prime last Tuesday using a valid coupon code. Received an email today to say it has been removed from the order as they cannot source it. However they currently have it up for sale on their website and It would let me order 99 of them if I wanted to.. Not a trustworthy company, avoid.
