I'm continually impressed

I'm continually impressed with how Aventon has stood behind their bikes over these past two years to help me get through some issues. Always friendly, always eager to help troubleshoot and problem solve.
I can only imagine if they treat their employees with the same attention and care they do their customers, this must be a great place to work, too.

Offerup has been a sinking ship ever…

Offerup has been a sinking ship ever since they merged with Letgo back in 2020.
The app has ZERO customer service. If you are patient enough to leave through the obnoxious self help articles, click back and forth enough, it might open the secret portal to let you send an inquiry to customer service but, even IF someone responds back, it's like they don't even read what you wrote about. Perhaps saying artificial robot sends a generic claim response back to you. They may tell you to clear your cache, for stop, uninstall and reinstall the app, login and log out or to send them a screenshot or video of the problem. Well, even if you tell them up front, hey here's a screenshot, I've also cleared the cache, forced stop, uninstalled and reinstalled the app I logged in and logged out but it still doesn't seem to fix the problem.
I have gone back and forth with them multiple times with various problems with the app and it's like they just don't understand, like maybe they don't speak my language and don't know how to translate it. It's really weird.
This app keeps users accounts open even if they haven't even logged in or checked anything in years.
The same issue with items that are posted for sale. Let's see I'm moving and I post a bunch of things for sale and then I get busy and I forget and I don't delete the ads. Well that's okay, good old OfferUp will leave those ads up for you for years and years and years and constantly rotate them to look like fresh from new merchandise when in fact, you already sold everything or donated it's Goodwill and moved out of town and have a look at the app in years. Not to worry, they'll be there forever.
Good luck getting anybody to respond when you are interested in buying something. There are so many old outdated accounts and so much old merchandise to sift through.
I reached out to them one time and I said hey, would you guys ever consider doing like most online places do and automatically delete an ad after oh I don't know, 6 months of it being there? Or maybe send a reminder to the user to renew the ad or it will be automatically deleted or something I mean come on people, you rely on artificial intelligence to run the whole program, can't you program something in to tell the robot to take an ad down?
before they merged, this app used to be a very active great place to easily buy and sell things and everything was fresh and new and quite busy but, since the merger, OfferUp has just flushed this thing down the toilet.
Now, they have all kinds of job services and automobiles and handyman services and whatever else in the app is so cluttered. When you're scrolling all these little pop-up things block your actual visual window to see items because they're always trying to get you to go to timu or whatever else advertisers they're dealing with. The newest thing now is, if you're scrolling along out of nowhere, the screen locks up and they show you a video adding you have to watch it but luckily for me, I'm smart enough to know that if I close out the app and then open right back up again the ad is gone but, it's still annoying.
I stuck around with this app because I do occasionally get a nice treasure or sell something but it's very very uncommon anymore these days. I'm at the point right now where it's time to say goodbye to OfferUp because it's not doing my blood pressure or my wallet any good.

Good parts warranty

I've had some problems with my bike since I purchased it over a year ago but, the good people of aventon have been very supportive to help resolve any issues quickly and professionally. They stand behind their products and make sure you're out there riding and enjoying life

Walmart plus membership is well worth every penny.

I have been a Walmart plus customer for almost 2 years now after I dumped my Amazon prime membership.
I see there are a lot of negative reviews and I know everyone has their own reasons but I'd like to share with you my experiences.
Walmart Plus offers a lot of the same merchandise that Amazon sells and I can get it very quickly I also get free grocery delivery as well as many other wonderful benefits including streaming Paramount Plus and lots of other fun benefits they offer the longer youre a member.
I personally have gotten some great deals off of Walmart plus with free shipping super easy easy returns. There's no hassles on anything that I've had to return. They allow me to walk into a store set it on the counter They scan a barcode and I'm out the door done and over with.
I can get virtually anything I need through Walmart.com with my Walmart plus membership and have it delivered the next day or even two days.
I can do all my grocery shopping online and they deliver it to me at no charge.
I have had nothing but good experiences with the customer service in the past two years since I've been a member.
They go above and beyond the help and try and resolve any issues that you have. The great part is, unlike Amazon, Walmart plus gives you 90 day returns on everything. I think it's outstanding!
Like I said before, I know there are a lot of negative reviews on here but I just want to say, I think I've had a great experience with Walmart plus and I will continue to use Walmart and will never step foot on the Amazon website ever again because they have gone downhill so badly.
I think everyone should try Walmart Plus and see you how much better things can be. I also really like the fact that Walmart has physical stores where I can go in and return items or pick items up if I do online pickup where I can't do that with Amazon.
I'm very pleased with Walmart plus and look forward to continuing my professional relationship with them.

Boycott Amazon

Boycott Amazon! Like many people, I have been a loyal Amazon prime member for a long time And now that they have built up a loyal following, they have changed the rules and they have changed the game and they have change completely.
They have taken away many of the great benefits that were included with being a prime member including streaming services without commercials, streaming music that you could play for hours on end and skip songs, But fast "free" delivery is a joke now. They try to make you think it's always been this way but it's a lie. I think of the hundreds and hundreds of items I've ordered through the years that were always delivered the next day or within 2 days and now, they will hold the items and ship them whenever it's convenient for them and that's not what they consider to be "free" delivery in two days. Customer places order October 1st.. item isn't shipped until October 7th... Item arrives October 11th because it just so happens to be a weekend.
Same thing with returns, It used to be they would give you an instant refund as soon as you return the item to UPS store or designated delivery spot but not anymore, now, they make you wait up to 30 days for even a simple $5 return just to get a refund.
I returned a $600 generator that never got delivered I canceled the delivery before it was even delivered to my house because they were taking way too long to get it to me. They still made me wait exactly 30 days to the minute and to the day and to the hour before they finally gave me a refund and even then.... It took almost 8 days before the refund was actually posted back to my account. In the meantime, Amazon is getting the interest off of those items and pocketing that money all at the customer's expense.
The customer service used to be outstanding but now, it's ridiculously slow It takes small act of Congress just to get anywhere with anyone. The language barrier is horrible and it takes such a long time to achieve anything with a customer service agent.
I am so tired of Amazon I have no regrets for canceling my membership. I think it's sad that a company that offered so much to its customers is now pulling back on everything and still expecting people to pay a premium for their membership.
I wish Congress would step in and force them to return the way they used to do business or to at least refund memberships for people for the past year because Amazon has been going downhill for the past year and it's not worth it anymore.
Have you ever considered getting a Walmart plus membership? Walmart plus offers free streaming services lots of great deals and discounts with other businesses plus you get free fast shipping and free grocery delivery amongst many other wonderful benefits.
Also, Walmart Plus sells many of the same items that Amazon does for the same prices with better customer service and faster delivery.
Boycott Amazon. Put your money in your local community and support local businesses the way it used to be because anymore, Amazon prices are not that great and I can get many of the same items on Amazon at local stores for the same price now.
I'll never do business with Amazon ever again.

Review of Hulu

I think Hulu is a very peculiar…

I think Hulu is a very peculiar streaming service. They have so many commercials that I lose interest in the movie or show that I'm watching.
I think the price increase is way out of line with what they offer compared to the other streaming services.
I feel like, if they would dramatically reduce the sheer volume and length of these commercials they force you to watch in conjunction with the new upcoming price increase, that might be a little more palatable.
I was watching a movie the other day and the commercials were so frequent and so obnoxious, I literally lost all interest in the movie and didn't even remember where we left off.
I don't like how they waste time doing a countdown so that you'll choose which version of the upcoming commercial you want to watch. I don't understand the purpose behind that but it just takes more time away from enjoying the entertainment.
I don't know about anybody else but, when I try to reach out to customer service to talk to them about anything, you'd think they are working for the FBI because they want you to verify of course your name call me your email address and your phone number sure. But then they want you to verify whether the credit card you're using for payment is a MasterCard or a Visa card, they want the last four digits of the card, they want the expiration date when all that information is already on my account. They then want to know a bunch of other ridiculous questions that I don't even remember what I said when I started my account in the first place.
I literally am not even kidding you when I say I spent almost a half an hour trying to verify my identity just so the stupid customer service agent would answer a question that really had nothing to do with my specific account or my billing whatsoever.
My other complaint is, they have been sending me an email saying come back we miss you get Hulu for $2.99 a month for 6 months But, whenever I try to answer the promo code, they tell me it's already been used. I haven't used the promo code but they can't tell me who has and they won't issue me a new promo code. The customer agent says, those are all computer generated and we don't have any control over it or ability to give you a new promo code.
I don't feel like a valued or appreciated customer when I try and talk with somebody in their customer service department. I feel like They are treating me like I am some felon who is trying to scam them so I can get into someone's account and harvest their viewing history or something? I don't really understand it quite frankly.
Nobody at Netflix has ever said hey you know what we appreciate you, hey how can I help you today, how can I make your viewing experience better, We appreciate you as a customer nothing. It's always like they are some awesome dynamite superpower streaming service that everyone is banging down the doors to be a part of and they only have a limited openings. Give me a break!
Treat your customers with a little bit of dignity and kindness Hulu.
As far as this new rate increase goes, they've lost me as a customer for sure because the value is not there with all those commercials they play. And most of the content, is stuff that I get already through my streaming TV service but it's nice to be able to go back and watch some things and I have enjoyed some of their movies and content but, it's just not enough to keep me paying their inflated prices to watch all those commercials all the time.
I feel the same way about Amazon prime, they have become a shadow of their former self and I no longer enjoy or feel proud to be an Amazon prime member..
And I no longer am proud or enjoy being a Hulu member. It used to be fun and exciting but any more, it's just not a good value.

Review of NBKC Bank

NBKC Bank is a true gem

NBKC Bank is a great bank with awesome people and no fees assessed if you sneeze or look wrong. NBKC Bank offers all the perks of the big banks without hassle, stress or frustration and they not only treat you with kindness and respect but, they don't waste your time. The customer service is some of the best I've ever experienced at any bank.
I hate going to the bank and I haven't stepped foot in a bank in about 15 years and my favorite part is, I can do absolutely everything I need to do either online, in the app, via chat or on the phone. They have a network of ATMs pretty much anywhere you are and they got your back.
I had a weird situation where I deposited cash into an ATM and the ATM gave me some money back but posted that I had deposited the full amount. I have a moral compass, I am honest, I know right from wrong and I believe in karma so, it was a no brainier that I redeposited the money, which looked like I was adding even more into my account but, I was just putting the original cash back in.
I contacted NBKC Bank and spoke with Ian who listened to my situation, confirmed what I was saying, asked questions and began researching what happened. There was a hold on my funds and it really put me in a bad situation as I had multiple bills due the next two days and I needed that money to be available.
Ian from NBKC Bank took ownership of the situation and worked hard to get to the bottom it, all while keeping in full contact with me, checking in and reassuring me he was working on it. In the end, Ian was able to figure out the issue, released the funds and saved the day.
This level of personal customer service is fading away in big banks and big retailers but not at NBKC Bank. They consistently go above and beyond to exceed customer standards and make banking simple but supportive.
I have been through a lot over the past two years with a virus on my brain, learning to walk again, being unable to work much, struggling financially and then the death of my beautiful cat two days ago, this was more stress I just didn't need right now as I'm trying so hard to get caught up and my world back on track. Ian and all the find folks at NBKC Bank have been there for me when I have questions or concerns and they'll be there for you, too
I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend NBKC Bank to anyone out there reading this review. Open an account today, you'll be a happier person.

I trust Bike Tires Direct

I'm a year round bike commuter and rely exclusively on my bikes to get me to where I need to be at all times. I can't afford to deal with flat tires so I look to Bike Tires Direct to supply me with all the tires I need for a 6 of my bikes at great prices.
Bike Tires Direct is a local Oregon business so I feel good about buying from them. I exclusively purchase Schwalbe Marathon tires and, whenever possible the "Plus" line from Schwalbe. The Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires are the top of the line tire, don't skimp on tires, if you rely on your bike as your only form of transportation, spend a little more and get a good quality puncture resistant tire like Schwalbe Marathon plus tires and make sure you get them from Bike Tires Direct where they match prices and ship free and fast plus they have no hassle returns and the best customer service.

First time customer and I'm super pleased with the customer service, prices, selection and with the speed of delivery. DHL kept me updated on the arrival of the package and it even arrived 3 days early.
My items were exactly as I expected them to be and I Will definitely do business with you again and recommend you to all my fellow cycling friends.
