Basically scammers

Pushed advertising onto us with no quote or mention of cost. Agreed to have a look into what they propose, but never agreed to any costs. Then all of a sudden we get a bill for £950 which we never agreed to! There's no way we would have signed up to that, so we said hang on a minute, we never agreed to anything at all! They said, too late we've done the work now! What work?! They didn't even show us! Just invoiced us for a while, which we ignored, and then came the threats of court action! Be very, very careful with this company, they work to zero morals and karma will not be kind to them.
EDIT SINCE REPLY: You're either lying (most likely since that falls in line with your morals) or you've lost my details (also in line with being incompetent and completely dishonest). You scammed me out of a lot of money, and that's the harsh and brutal fact I have to deal with.

They charge what they like

Have been charged for 163 'direct debits and bank transfers' in January - that's 163 charges of 20p per transaction. The actual number of direct debits and bank transfers I made in January is more like 10 or 20. It seems that Tide can just classify whatever payments they like as 'direct debits and bank transfers' even if they weren't! Unbelievable ... I'm leaving.

Tarnished product not resolved by customer service

Bought a silver and diamond necklace for my wife's birthday at a cost of £1,225. I never opened the box to check it but when I gave it to her she opened it and found it to be badly tarnished in 3 or 4 different areas - the silver had turned black. Birthday ruined. I contacted customer services expecting to return it for a replacement but instead was offered 3 horrible options - spend more money on buying Tiffany silver cleaning products and just clean it myself, travel a 500 mile round trip to have it cleaned in a Tiffany store, or post it back at my own expense (over £10 for fully insured) to be cleaned by Tiffany and then returned to me. All options equate to more cost to me! This from a luxury company?! Shockingly poor show.

Everything is faulty!

Bought a rug. Collected rug. Got home and rug was ripped. Returned rug. Ordered another rug. Was sold the same ripped rug I returned. Ordered another rug from a store 25 miles away instead. Drove 50 miles to get it - this time with an ironing board. Checked the rug in-store this time and was ok. Got home and the ironing board is faulty. Nightmare.

I'm a business customer of DPD

I'm a business customer of DPD. We switched from Royal Mail thinking they'd be better and more reliable. We were wrong. I have daily battles now with DPD regarding missing parcels, lost parcels, driver errors, customer instructions being ignored, even drivers committing crimes (forging signatures!) - and then of course we're the ones having to deal with all the unhappy customers. They've been absolutely shockingly bad and I wish we never switched to them. The worst thing of all is their customer service - it's so unbelievably frustratingly bad. It's an absolute battle with them on a daily basis, their platinum support is worse than useless as is our account manager. Absolutely terrible, if you're a business don't use them.

Penny Pinchers

When I buy expensive luxury items, I know the retailer has probably made 200% profit on my purchase, but I accept that. What I can't get to grips with is the penny pinching postage cost in addition to the expensive item I just purchased. The 200% profit wasn't enough for you? You really need to squeeze that extra fiver from me? The item I bought wasn't expensive enough? Are times that hard for you? These are not the actions of a luxury outlet, they are uncouth penny-pinching tactics that are really, really ugly and not befitting a quality, respectful outlet.
