Raminder Dhesi was rude, patronizing and condescending, lecturing me about medicines and kidney dialysis as well as talking over me as I tried to explain why I was short of medicine and had three changes to my insurance .

I tried to keep the conversation light, but she consistently talked over me and made me feel like a bad commercial interrupting her movie. She ignored my comments and was straight up inconsiderate. I cannot tolerate that kind of behavior from a medical professional. It is unacceptable.

She was younger than me and treated me like a fast food customer. I get it. It’s a 15 minute session, but honestly, I felt like a nuisance to her instead of a person who deserve respect and compassion. I was trying to get med refills and for my trouble I had to pay for a rude person who treated like I knew nothing and deserved less.

I hate to tell you this, but your website is a joke. You only take PayPal for payment and even though my debit card has a MasterCard logo on it. You have to pay to submit a comment? What kind of poetry website are you?

Honestly, I really think your website is very greedy and you’re not very open either. You charge people money just to send a question or a comment. How greedy can you be?

All My Sons review-failure to honor price quote & overcharge

I requested All My Sons to help me move on July 19, 2025. The originally quote a price of $495 and then forced me to pay $797 after trying to charge me $897 including $169 transport over a distance of 1.3 miles which I tracked on Google maps and informed them about!

I was forced to pay $797 before the move even took place and my things were moved. I even physically help with moving boxes and as Christian believing I was negotiating with one I was no
I would like a refund for the overcharge based on my original quote of $498 which is agreed to pay and a formal written apology. My mom made me promise to save money and now I wear shame for dishonoring her. I will never do business again with All My Sons. They deceived, misinformed and overcharged me for an already emotional move after my mom died.

I made a decision to switch my phone carrier from Consumer Cellular to Spectrum after I was informed I was being charged too much money a month with Consumer Cellular on my phone bill. Spectrum asked me to contact Consumer Cellular to unlock my phone in which they refused on the grounds that I still owe roughly $230-$250 to pay for the rest of my iPhone 14 before they would unlock the phone to allow me to execute the switch of carriers. Consumer Cellular has lied to us that their rates are cheaper. On top of that they have handcuffed me with switching carriers when they could’ve easily transfer the cost for the phone to Spectrum. I find it disgusting that they use a major actor like Ted Danson to advertise how cheap they are when in fact, Consumer Cellular is lying to the public about the rates and then holding customers hostage if they want to switch… find another phone carrier instead of Consumer Cellular unless you want to be a prisoner.

It’s a shame that I even have to leave a star at all on this comment because I would prefer to give it a zero instead. I am considering withdrawing from Substack because of all the racist nonsense, and abusive commentary towards me and others. I do not consider this a safe place. I am going to be withdrawing my following and subscriptions from those who have made it plainly obvious they post to make money and for attention seeking which I find repulsive. I post because I sincerely want to get my poetry to the hands of people who need it. I share my personal opinions, especially regarding my mom’s passing as a way of connecting with others and letting them know that there is a clear voice of reason and conscience that exists. I’m not here to try to persuade anybody. But saying that I have a zero tolerance for racist, abusive people and critics who feel self appointed to tell me how to live and write. I would hope the better angels of our nature would incline us to listen and accept each other regardless of differences. I’m just sad. I have to come to this decision and I don’t do so lightly. To all the writers and poets not seeking money or huge following, you have my admiration and support. I’m just not sure if this is the place for me.

As of today, I am behind on rent and am being charged late fees since my mom passed away on September 21, 2024. I was unemployed from the end of June until the first and second week of November when I finally got a job with a really great company. I’ve written several letters to the Apartment Manager here at Orchards Market Plaza in Plano, Texas. I’ve only received one official response and that was to ask me when I was paying and how much. I’m being charged over $1800 for an apartment originally in my mom’s name but I added my name in February 2023. I have asked several times for a payment plan to help me alleviate my deficit on my rent, but to no avail. I actually heard from one of the residents, my Apartment Manager saying that kindness is a weakness which informed me a very negative opinions that people have expressed and who have left. Many people site her as the reason for leaving. I also found out it was because of nepotism she was given this position. For the life of me, I can’t understand how a company can be so coldhearted and an apartment manager, unwilling to respond to basic maintenance request as well as detailed email messages from me explaining my situation and how much I was able to pay and requiring more time. I have heard Greystar will no longer be owning this property by the end of the year, which doesn’t exactly bring on good news. Just a change in management. I am really disappointed because the same. Apartment Manager told me she would work with me and only found a time to respond to one message and that after two weeks. My heart is broken for losing my mom and I haven’t had time to grieve because an apartment and it’s parent company insist I pay or else. I pray for a better outcome.
