Great service - would 100% recommend

I was a bit nervous selling my car at first, as I’d not heard of this company before. The team were great and helped every step of the way. The quote was sent over quickly after submitting the application and I was very happy with the price offered. After having a quick phone call to discuss the car, I proceeded with the process. The team even went a step further and helped me decide which car to buy next. I was advised that the car I was planning to buy next wasn’t a reliable car, so they prevented me from buying a less reliable car and directed me towards a car that was reliable. Even though I wasn’t buying a new car from them they still provided this help out of decency. They were always at the end of the phone if needed as well.

I would definately recommend this company to anyone looking to sell their car. Speedy and efficient service from start to finish.

Great piece of kit

The only reason I’ve give it 4 out of 5, is I bought the GPS version with the automated falls detection. My nan who the pendant is for is in hospital, so I staged a fall whilst wearing the pendant on two occasions to test the pendant and the automatic fall sensor did not engage. I did phone tech support and it only worked when the pendant was dropped at shoulder height, without it being worn so the pendant hit the floor hard. I’m a student physio and in reality, the person would hit the floor taking most of the impact and the pendant would not likely hit the floor as hard, meaning the automatic falls detection doesn’t work as well as I expected. I do still think it is a good piece of kit and the fact it doesn’t require internet and works away from the home is great. I would still recommend this product.

We’re sorry to hear that the fall detection didn’t meet your expectations during testing. As you’ve experienced, fall detectors do have limitations and are designed to detect sudden, sharp movements consistent with a fall, which often means they rely on the force and angle of impact. If the user cushions the fall or lands gradually, the sensor may not always register it as a fall.

Magnesium

I bought this due to feeling fatigued all the time regardless of how much sleep I got. Been taking about a week now and my fatigue has definitely reduced. I would recommend.

Washing machine - not impressed

Engineer came to fix washing machine. Didn’t test it before he left. It broke down 10 minutes after he left so I rang to ask him to come back and was advised he was 30 minutes away and was too far to come back. So either he was lying which I believe was the case or he’s been speeding like a maniac endangering other people on the road. I am an NHS worker and need clean uniform as I’m dealing with vulnerable patients and I have been made to wait almost a week for another appointment leaving me with no washing machine for this period. Makes me laugh how everyone was clapping for the NHS during Covid, now no one cares about NHS staff anymore. Disappointed is an understatement.

Wasps - excellent job

Customer service was excellent. I rang up in the afternoon and they were here first thing the following morning, which I was impressed with as it was a Sunday on bank holiday weekend.

I thought there was a nest but Shaun who came told me he couldn’t see a nest but was able to tell me what the problem was and sprayed the area we have been getting wasps, which will hopefully solve the problem. Shaun was really knowledgable and able to tell me about certain things that can attract wasps so I can prevent them in the future.

I would recommend the service 100%

Myofascial Cupping course

Mark was great at delivering the course. I am studying Physiotherapy at University at the moment and this course expanded my knowledge beyond what I had been taught, especially in relation to fascia. The day was very informative but enjoyable at the same time. I would 100% recommend this course and I will be recommending this course to my friends on the physio degree.

Excellent customer service from Gerald

I rang Octopus today as I was considering them as my new supplier after moving house. I looked at the reviews online and they weren’t the cheapest option but the customer service was rated high so I wanted to enquire more about their tariff’s. I spoke to Gerald and he showed me why their customer service rating is so good. He was very knowledgable, answered all my questions and based on this I decided to sign up. Best experience I’ve had with an energy company and would highly recommend.
