Not as Advertised - Not reliable for stock trading

1st problem - took 85 minutes to get someone to answer the phone. No dedicated email for trading questions either!
2nd problem - claims zero commissions but then I find out there is a monthly account fee to trade US stocks. So backhanded commission really.
3rd problem - the lovely online chat bot didn't answer my questions the same way the phone agent did. Bot gave misinformation. Also the bot promised to get a live agent to chat with, instead it just spun in a circle stating waiting for live agent to join!
Totally does not live up to its 'Mr Suits' advertising promise.
Disappointing - will be closing account.

Be careful - ever evolving price

Be careful
Very misleading company. Website says $30 then you inquire and its $45. You send them instructions and all of a sudden its a minimum of $300.
Not trustworthy.
Best to look elsewhere imo

Won't match its own pricing!! Even at Christmas!

Walmart Price online was $100 less than in Walmart store. Asked manager to match price - reply "they don't do that". Said okay I'll use your online ordering to buy and take the product from the store. Reply "no" - has to be shipped from our warehouse. So with 3 days before Christmas the gift won't arrive in time - result - disappointment. Brutal company to deal with. Don't make your customers have to worry about Walmart's corporate accounting!! Do better Walmart

Avoid - pillow not comfortable; company difficult

Pillow doesn't work as stated in the video. Very uncomfortable and causes neck and back issues.

Note added - company called and offered a full refund - so I have improved review to reflect that company did agree to a refund - so change from 1 to 3 stars

Would give zero stars if permitted to do so

Take months to assign your matter to an investigator. Then investigation is wrapped up within 2 weeks - even though the offending company took days just ignoring a request for info. Despite the brokerage having no file to back claims; firm admitted to lying - still ruling goes against individual. Its time for Canada to get a regulator with some real authority. My advice - anyone who has been wronged by a bank, or brokerage company shouldn't waste his time with the OBSI - seek another avenue of recourse; one that actually has some authority and isn't simply funded by the companies they are tasked to investigate! The real joke - OBSI's slogan - "Make a complaint today & receive a fair, free & independent resolution" - should really be, "Make a complaint then wait months, then expect a rapid finding (despite any evidence or lack of evidence) in favour of the companies that pay OBSI salaries. Hey - PM Trudeau, time to disband this group, imo.

First time hiring Shackshine to clean - eavestrough/gutters. Very professional duo - Garth and Ben. Polite, through - unlike some companies, did a good job cleaning up the leaves/debris that fell to the ground. Did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this GTA duo from Shackshine.

I would give zero rating if I could

I would give zero if I could! Waited 2.5 hrs in line at their Las Vegas airport location. Only 2 agents at the counter yet room for 6+ agents. About 60 people in line. Once you got to an agent there was a second wait on the lower level to get your car. After 90 minutes a Hertz agent came and said no reservations booked that day would be honored. Horrific customer service. Horrific company. Over booked reservations and then had insufficient number of agents. Simply didn't care that people had to wait 3+hours to get their car.

Nothing but inconvenience and very costly

Booked a rental car through expedia. Asked for car at the LV airport. Took the rental car shuttle -stood 2.5hrs in line (NEVER BOOK WITH DOLLAR RENTAL CAR). Got to counter agent said the car was not at the airport location but at another location in the City. Cost me $300 US (more than double what I had already paid to expedia). BRUTAL experience. Took another hour to get Expedia on the phone. Never use a third party to book for you and never book with Dollar Rent-a-car

International Theft of Parcel

International Theft of Parcel - I've used Chit Chats for several years and been extremely happy with them ( 5 out of 5 stars). So then I referred a family member to them. Will shorten the story - because it took over a month to get the answer from Chit Chats. Individual sent a large parcel internationally to UK; insurance not an option offered by CC; parcel valued in the hundreds $. No insurance option was confirmed with counter clerk prior to dropping parcel off. Tracking said parcel wouldn't be delivered until after Xmas. Disappointing but what can you do. Then tracking rapidly updates days later to says parcel was delivered 3 days earlier at 11:58pm (midnight) on Dec 21st! Parcel never received (very trusted recipient). Sender spent weeks dealing with Chit Chats - who kept saying give us a few more days to investigate (which clearly they didn't do fully!). UK courier said parcel was signed for; they sent a photo - which showed a man's foot at an open door (no house # visible) - wasn't the correct house, wasn't the correct parcel. Everything was fraudulent about it. Clearly the parcel was stolen - and yet Chit Chats did everything to avoid the sender's calls and inquiries. Complete and utter runaround. CC didn't return calls as promised - and then after weeks just sent an email saying parcel lost, file closed. No compensation, no theft investigation, absolutely nothing. Sender continued to press - now all CC will do is return shipping cost - sender is out hundreds of dollars. So Chit Chats if you don't even care that your UK carrier is stealing, why would people trust you with their parcels??? I'm utterly disgusted and feel horrific that I recommended CC to my family member. As a business you need to do a much better job of protecting your customers and responding to your customers. Total fail Chit Chats. You have thieves working amongst your third party carriers - you should care about this!!

Total failure by Dyson

My fan sparked when on during the night, in Feb 2022. Dyson agreed to take back and replace. Had me sign an agt saying I wouldn't pursue anything further against them. They (claim) didn't have same model of fan in stock (Feb 2022) so sent much larger fan. Far too big and cumbersome and not useful. I told them and they said they would contact when other model available. I emailed several times over several months - since I never heard from them, and their answer always was that with global supply issues that model wasn't available. Finally late Dec 2022 they said they had the fan (in answer to my email). So I packed up the big fan in its box (which I had to store for 10 months - its almost 4 ft tall). Replacement fan arrived - seemed rather large when courier dropped it off. Looked at packaging - its the same stupid fan I just returned. Emailed customer service (about the 12+ email over this debacle) and they claimed that's what I wanted. Seriously - why would I return a model I didn't want only to get the exact same model in return? Fan in box weighs 12 pounds (courier label says this) - so not an easy thing to lug around! Horrific frustration - Dyson wasn't believable at all - I even sent them a photo of the model I wanted selling on Amazon.ca by Dyson. So now I'm stuck with this large fan, still in the box. Completely useless for me. Customer service just gave me a complete runaround for 11 months - and I doubt our little signed agt has any legal weight since they didn't fulfill their end of the bargain. Anyone want to buy a fan - I'll need to sell this one to then buy the much smaller one on Amazon. Do better Dyson - and don't give customers the run around for 10 months!!!

Horrific customer service

Horrific customer service. Ordered Xmas item Nov 24th; said delivery would be Dec 1. Started checking Dec 3. Kept being told it was in process. Waited 2 days, checked again. On Dec 7th (4th follow up) asked that item be refunded. Told had to wait 72 hrs - couldn't be cancelled without an inquiry to warehouse. Called Dec 12th - no idea where package is. Person leaving Dec 14th so won't receive XMAS gift. I demanded a refund - will take 7 to 10 business days!! Never buy from Saksoff5th - customer service is horrific and promise to fulfill orders even worse. Personally I think they never had the product - or weren't prepared to sell it at the price stated. Spoiled my Xmas for one gift recipient - missed opportunity to get a great gift from a better store on Black Friday (since I foolishly chose skasoff5th instead). Do not buy from saksoff5th is my recommendation - you'll only suffer disappointment and frustration. If I could give zero stars - I would

The new & improved Shirlty doesn't work for Cdns

Prior to Shirtly's recent website and pricing changes I found they were an excellent, honourable Canadian company - high quality products, reasonably fast, shipping was a little expensive but overall very solid. Then they went and did an update on their website - shirtly 2.0. Made all kinds of changes - mostly notably dramatic price increases for Cdns. Eliminated 3 monthly samples; eliminated discounts and in fact raised prices by putting exchange risk on Cdn customers. Despite having a plant in Canada and product available from Cdn sources Shirtly decides to price everything in US dollars so prices soar. Cdn customers question this - Shirtly kicks people out of the FB group for questioning their claim that prices are lower (when customers can demonstrate thru invoices that shirts are in fact more expensive now). They no longer seem to care about Cdn customers - very bad rollout of their new website portal (lots of miscues) and now they are no longer an affordable Cdn option imo - profit margins have dramatically shrunk. Very poor handling of their FB group as well - you raise a concern or a question they don't like and they kicked you out - no warning; no explanation. Not how Cdn customers should be treated.
