Knowledgeable advisor who was a great help.

After banging my head against the wall with British Gas about an ongoing billing issue which lasted nearly a year and a half, the Ombudsman managed to resolve what was a very complex complaint both meticulously and comprehensively. My case worker was a former employee of BG so was extremely learned in the process involved and was able to systematically walk me through every step of the way by explaining where the issues were and how she would rectify them. Received compensation from BG and a practical plan for moving forward.

Great purchasing experience.

Beauty Outlet was the only website to stock a specific cosmetic item that I wanted but was unable to find elsewhere at a very competitive price. Ordering online was easy, transparent and delivery was pretty quick. Items were received well packaged and in brilliant condition. Will definitely use again.

Not a great experience when things go wrong.

Purchased an Crivit Air Mattress in store and when attempting to inflate it (which is another joke), the seams were leaking air. Misplaced the receipt and advised by their Customer Contact Centre to return direct to store. Did exactly that and despite being able to prove through online banking the purchase date, store, amount paid etc... was refused a refund/credit voucher by store manager as didn't have the receipt bar code. Waste of time, money and breath trying to return an item that wasn't fit for use at the point of sale. Customer service an absolute shambles and a polar opposite experience in comparison to the customer-centric quality of response received at Aldi in a very similar situation. Won't be wasting anymore £ buying anything from Lidl again. Buyer beware. ETA - Unsurprisingly, Lidl seem to be more concerned with paying lip service to negative reviews rather than personally respond to customers enquiries. I.e. I did respond to their 'public' request for me to get back in touch and again they failed to respond to my email. Go figure.

Not a great experience tbh.

Made the mistake of purchasing an item through this website only to be hit with a hidden delivery charge post purchase. Turns out the third party company that the item was being sold by had p**s poor reviews and a plethora of disappointed customers who had not received their items. Decided not to redeem the voucher based on the reviews but getting an actual refund from this faceless company (Wowcher) is turning out to be an absolute joke. No reply to three emails sent (using their own cancellation template - as provided on their website), their claim of a 'no quibble refund guarantee' is a gross misappropriation and having to download WhatsApp to be able to contact Customer Service (no phone number available) is downright ridiculous. I'm entitled to a full refund in accordance with my statutory right under the cooling off period regs so I won't be letting it drop. My advice to others would be to bear all the above info in mind when things go wrong. I definitely won't be using them again. ETA - I note that Wowcher can reply to negative reviews but yet can't reply to numerous emails/WhatsApp messages sent directly to them??!! Point proven.

Plants dead upon arrival.

Purchased a 12 pack of perennial ground cover plugs and ALL were dead on arrival. Packing was sub-standard (especially when you consider that they use EVRI to courier them - who give absolutely zero care to live plants in transit) and the selection of plants that I was told I was receiving were NOT what was actually received. However, I was fully refunded after leaving this review.

Good luck getting refunded for goods not received!

Failed to adhere to their own promise of next day delivery. Poor communication and when the order was cancelled by the purchaser (because the required timescale was not met by Euroffice), monies owed by them in relation to this refund never materialised despite several email messages from various staff members who insisted that a refund had been instructed (it hadn't). Therefore, I'd highly recommend shopping elsewhere.

Exceptionally poor customer experience & excessive delays

Ordered items over a week ago and should have been delivered yesterday. No notifications received regarding reason for delays and non-existent options to contact customer service. Received an automated email today to state a few items from the order are out of stock despite them taking money from bank for them with no indication as to when these monies will be refunded. Extremely poor customer service experience and will not be purchasing from them again. Absolutely abysmal. Buyer beware. Suggest using other more reliable outlets.

Fantastic value and a lovely treat

Fantastic value and a lovely treat. Opted for the vegetarian option (cauli fritter sliders, cheesy potato-tots & a five bean chilli, (not) chicken goujons, macaroni cheese balls with chilli & BBQ dips) - gorgeous 🥰. Two mocktails to accompany (porn star & woo woo - both lush) and extremely surprised when a second dessert platter was brought to the table (gilded waffles and ice cream, banoffee pies, and chocolate brownies). Couldn't eat it all!! Lovely staff and great decor. Music was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.

£10 mocktails?? Taking the p***.

£10 for a mocktail? The same price as an alcoholic drink??? Nah mate. Most overpriced 'Mr Freeze' EVER. If you're not a lush, avoid these rip-off merchants like the plague - there are most definitely better made and cheaper mocktails elsewhere in Sheffield that don't fill the glass with crushed ice, flash a bit of fruit syrup at it whilst having your pants down for the (dis) pleasure.

Excellent Customer Service!

Have been a customer for quite a while now and have always found their 'inspired by' perfumes to replicate their more expensive counterparts quite effectively with impressive longevity. Ordered three of their fragranced candles on a very generous Valentine's deal and unfortunately had a slight issue with one; which was swiftly rectified by a very understanding representative of the company named Diane who effectively remedied the matter with speed and courtesy. Will definitely be re-ordering from TEV in the not too distant future. Very happy customer. :)

Safe and efficient driver, great value for money in getting to London.

Travelled to London from Sheffield @ 7.45am. Very comfortable 4.5hr journey, driver courteous and friendly, clean and tidy coach, smooth journey, great price (I'm looking at you National Rail btw) and despite running into a little congestion in London central (which is certainly to be expected), we really appreciated the quick pitstop at Watford Gap to exchange drivers where we could quickly grab a coffee to go (and use the toilet). The coach did have a loo on board but unfortunately, another passenger didn't have the grace or consideration to depart with the rat that had obviously crawled up them and died, BEFORE they got on the coach. Other than that, no problems at all.
