This company is a big sh* show, never again! Terrible experience from the very beginning. I downloaded the app to do the check-in and have the boarding pass available, but also for practicality. On registering, it said that there was already an existing account linked to my email, but I never flew with Lufthansa before. I tried the "rest your password option," and it did not work. Eventually, I gave up. Then my boyfriend tried and also it didn't work for him.
Once at the airport, we went to the lounge and had another poor experience as they did not have vegan options, not even a very basic oat milk. If you have allergies.... good luck!
Move on, we get to the gate, and the service was appalling; their general approach was very rude. They stopped us claiming that all three bags we had were too big AND too heavy. These are the same basic bags we carry every time we fly and have been carefully checked for cabin allowance. But let's assume they were right, things can be delivered with kindness but they chose the poorest way possible.
Eventually, they removed one of our cabin bags and it was checked in. I believe that their problem was purely because my boyfriend is a black man as other white people walked through with huge bags, no problems. Shame on you!
Then you would think that once landed you were done, but that was not the case. The plane made a terrible pinch noise until it parked.
Now on checking their reviews I understand why Lufthansa is rated so badly. You should review your entire system. Filks don't waste your money on their poor service and behaviour.
