Loved doing this activity with my partner as a fun new craft to try.
It was a little confusing how to correctly fill in the gaps with the sand and we needed to do some trial and error - the videos definitely made it look easier than it is!
Once we got the hang of things, though, it was really fun and turned out beautiful. I'd recommend a simple design for first-timers unless you don't mind spending hours on the first step with the wire. We chose a simple design (Girl with the pearl earring + boba) and it took 2 of us about 1.5-2 hrs to complete the wire gluing stage. Just something to keep in mind.
Very fun and will definitely do another one soon.

My daughters purchased the right to name a star on the registry as a Christmas gift. Such a wonderful gift as I have been an amateur astronomer for several years and a life long science enthusiast. I have been able to find this star easily using my telescope - it shines so bright, not far from the Southern Cross. So glad this was one of my Christmas gifts this year.
