Bullying, provocation and a lack of respect

As a neurodiverse individual, I’ve consistently found the environment within the club (STROOD, KENT) to be exclusionary and unwelcoming.

There is a clear culture of cliques, where newer or different members are made to feel like outsiders. I’ve experienced bullying, provocation, and a lack of respect particularly during games which has made it difficult to simply enjoy football, something I came here to do.

Intimidated by four players, and one of the coaches shouted at me from a distance, encouraging a physical confrontation by saying I should "go and have a fight with them" Is just one example and included one of the main coaches.

This was extremely distressing and unacceptable behaviour, particularly from someone in a leadership position.

Additionally, after stepping away from the club, I have been informed by others that I was mocked in the club’s WhatsApp group by those in leadership roles. This has only reinforced the toxic, single-out culture that is present in the club, and it has made it clear that this is not a safe or inclusive space for someone like me.

I simply wanted to enjoy playing football. Instead, I’ve had to endure exclusion, provocation, and mistreatment.

Huge disappointment and unsafe

• No WIFI despite when booking the agent advised this was present
• Our room was situated by a really dirty lake which had a foul smell so couldn't use the balcony or had to buy fans from the local supermarket to get a bit of breeze in the room
• On Saturday morning I was stuck in our bathroom for 10-15 mins due to the door being jarred (video attached)
• Constant queueing for drinks and food orders despite the restaurant being very well staffed
• When served across the 3 days, 4 out of 5 times my order was wrong or I was overcharged with no refund given as we were told to queue "like everyone else" whilst looking after 3 children
• Staff on the till seemed to not have been trained, we were polite and understanding towards this but found the manager to be less friendly towards them
• Ordered kids hotdog meals on both evenings and when the order was received for my children it was sausage and chips which we were not told
• They restaurant across 2 days also didn't have any apple juice
• When booking we were told breakfast would include a hot drink, we were told it wasn't in the restaurant and had to purchase from the Costa next door
• Majority of smaller JCB rides out of service on the park
• The lunch we had inside the Gulliver's Land resort restaurant (shaped as a castle) the burger was wrong 3 times and had to keep retuning to change this, we were at table 44
• The breakfast baps were dry and when asking were told we have no brown sauce but then a different member of staff was giving it to another table (Image 0 attached)
• On both evenings my burgers were burnt and hard, again was told to queue to complain! (Images 1 and 5 attached)
• The chips each night were dense like they were from the night before and when asking to change this took up to 20 mins when we had finished our meal when we had to ask a member of staff walking past.
• The DJ at the kids disco at 7.30pm promised my daughter a birthday shoutout, this never happened and when asking if this was going to be happen was told sorry one more song and we are closed, of course for a young girl this had her in tears.
• Our son Cole who is 2 was playing in the area in the photo attached (Image3) with several children in and out of the play area the door was so stiff when a child opened and shut it this smashed him in the face which has now become badly bruised, there was no first aid on hand so had to leave the park early to go to a local supermarket to get pain relief and to bring the swelling down, this is hugely dangerous and could have had his eye out (Image 2 after injury)
• My wife took a bite out of her vegan sausage bap, for only this to be a meat sausage bap and not what was ordered, as a vegetarian this was horrifying and distressing for her on Saturday morning.
• One of the managers on duty on Saturday evening Anna was extremely rude to myself, wife and children when placing our order. We were told that there were no pizzas or burgers which were vegetarian and following the morning breakfast disaster wanted to be clear on our order to avoid any issues. On the menu it does not state a number of included meals in the stay which are included as vegetarian so no clear understanding of the offering. When we asked if there was anything that could be offered to my wife, Anna approached us around the till and said "You don't know what you're talking about, stop trying it on for a free upgrade!" this Infront of all my family in a real in your face manner. She then said "if we don't like what's on offer pay the extra or go somewhere else" this all Infront of my wife and children, poor customer service and most of all an awful attitude to show to my young children. Following this we received glares from her for the rest of our stay making it very uncomfortable.

A few members of staff who did put a smile on our faces and deserve a special mention:

• Joe at the log flume ride for his service and friendliness with our family.
• Gabby on one of the stools was very interactive with our children which gave them a smile, especially our son who could be seen visibly hurt from the previous day injury.


This was our first time to Gulliver's and a real disappointment across the family, for my daughter who was expecting a more magical birthday than what was given.

Terrible business

Terrible business! pre agreed a fee in which I stated the condition of the phone, then changed it to 95% lower then after agreeing a higher fee sent an email saying we are sending your phone back. Poor CS and can't be trusted.

I was caught in between a terrorist…

I was caught in between a terrorist threat on Stansted airport so stopped at a petrol garage just outside until there was further notice and despite showing evidence and appealing still got the ticket!
It seems you could break your back whilst parked and still get a ticket, no care for the public.

Warranty means nothing

Warranty means nothing! Be careful!
We have all paperwork and product details and numbers but because I can say where I bought the oven warranty means nothing!
Even had the cheek to say they could repair at cost.
After mentioning we have a family of 3 children under 3 years of age so the oven (which only needs new springs) so we can make dinner for them, their stance never changed.
No fairness to the consumer and all new home owners beware, if you haven't bought the product so unaware of where it was purchased but within warranty they will try and charge you and won't help no matter if you have young children to feed.
The advisor I spoke with was Shoab, who was polite but also didn't really care about our needs or a solution to help.

The worst customer service on earth!

The worst customer service on earth!

It's been 3 weeks and still no response on if our children have cots in our room in Turkey.

Called up on hold for 4 hours and when getting to 2 in the queue they cut me off!

The diet definitely works and becomes a day to day and I’ve never had a wrong order about of around 10-15 until my latest one which was 2 items missing, one wrong and some of the food like steak and salad not up to standard

Plymouth - Wonderful experience

Between me and my partner this is our 3rd child and of all the scans we have had this has to be the most wonderful and perfect.
From the welcome from Sarah to the Scan and analysis with Siobhan the whole experience was great.
Very helpful with extra bits we wanted to purchase and were so pleasant with their comments during the scan.
Really made it a day! Highly recommend the place and the members of staff who looked after us.

Horrific experience at Eltham branch

Horrific experience at Eltham branch - myself and my partner were a week premature for the early scan but were made to feel like we had committed a crime, given no reassurance and not given any information of any understanding at all, my partner left in floods of tears after the attitude of the member of staff left her very uneasy and worried.
After all the early excitement this has had a real affect on my partner.
Really ended the weekend on a negative when all the excitement and build up had been wonderful.
Lovely £2 charge for a mask while your there just for the cherry on top!
