Told to make a 2 hour round trip to a store as website wouldn't let me purchase!

Tried to purchase a few pairs of Meta AI glasses for use at a blind charity for visually impaired people. No matter what payment method I used the transaction would immediately fail so quickly with an error, I knew it wasn't even trying to contact the issuing bank (and I was not getting any failed transaction messages on my banking apps) asked online support who said try again in 24 hours. No difference. Asked online support again. They told me to try ordering fewer pairs. Same issue with only ordering 2 pairs. Emailed customer service who after a couple of days told me the solution was to go to one of their stores and make the purchase instead. This is a two hour round trip for me so it's not happening. Whoever heard of a business where for no given reason the customer simply can't buy items and apparently there's no solution? I've never encountered this before. Avoid.

Another parcel a week late

Yet another package shipped next day but arrived several days late after apparently being delayed at the local depot for days. Not enough drivers for the number of parcels? Or just can't be bothered? Either way not good enough.

Unacceptable service with Xmas veg delivery - AVOID THIS COMPANY!

First signed up to Milk and More some months ago and while it's been fine for milk, we've had numerous other missing items, usually something is wrong or missing every couple of weeks, really it hasn't been great.

The final straw was today - I had ordered a "Christmas Organic Fruit and Veg Box" weeks ago in advance when there was stock, so I didn't have to worry about going out and buying the veg / fruit for xmas day.

This was due to be delivered this morning (to postcode BH1 4QS). Instead what arrived was a "Premium Organic Veg Box" - I received no advance warning or any notification that my order was going to be substituted, and really that's not the point, the contents of the boxes are completely different - what I received compared to what I ordered, means I'm missing most of the potatoes, all the spouts, carrots, parsnips, clementines, the red cabbage, the garlic, the sage, the thyme, and the lemon! I didn't even get any onions (for some reason I got apples!?) so it's in no way an appropriate substitution! I have a bunch of veg that I don't need instead!

The point of me ordering it weeks ago was so I didn't have to worry and so I was assured I'd have all the veg I need to cook a Christmas meal for the few people I'm spending my single bubble day with. I ordered it in advance, I don't see how it wasn't available on the day, how come I was able to order it?

I rang and spoke to customer service this morning, the first person I spoke to attempted to contact the fulfilment centre but couldn't, so all they could do was email the fulfilment centre asking them to deliver the extra items on Wednesday, but only if they had them, and there was apparently no way I could be kept up to date or copied in, so I would just have to wait and see if anything turned up on Wednesday morning. This wasn't good enough, so I rang again later, and the second person I spoke to was able to confirm that "the supplier" had let them down with the Christmas boxes (apparently other customers have also been affected?) so there was just no way I could be provided what I ordered, and the only option was to refund me, which for lack of a better option, I accepted.

Now I have to head out shopping in a raging pandemic, meaning the inability of Milk and More to supply me with what I ordered is literally putting my life and the lives of my family at risk (I very rarely go out shopping, my wife has health conditions that make her a higher risk for Covid) because either someone somewhere got greedy and took orders they couldn't fulfil, or someone is grossly incompetent and allowed the over-ordering of Christmas items by customers, or maybe both, who knows! It's all very well blaming "the supplier", but perhaps they shouldn't use such a lousy supplier then? I made a contract with Milk and More when they took my £20 for the Xmas veg box, the buck stops with them.

As I stands, I am going to cancel my regular items with Milk and More, as well as advising everyone I know not to use them as I really can't recommend them based on my own experiences over the last few months.
