Terrible Experience

Ordered tiles for collection on line which said they were in stock. Paid for order and even received an email informing me that my order was ready to collect. My husband went to collect the order the next day (1 hour journey) only to be told the tiles were in fact not in stock and nobody knew when they would be in. Tiler was on standby to finish our bathroom, so waste of time and money. Just hope I get the money back as quickly as it was taken. My advice would be to steer clear of this company to avoid disappointment.

Descripton inaccurate

Bought a pair of jeans for my husband. Description was not accurate enough. They were described as straight fit but they were in fact very big and baggy. I paid £4.99 delivery. Other shops offer free delivery if you spend over a certain amount. I then paid another £4.99 to return, so wasting £10. Does not inspire me to shop at House of Fraser again.

Parcel left on door step in full view of potential thieves

Got an email saying driver left parcel in a safe place but it was left on the door step in full view. They didn't even ring the door bell and I was home at the time. This is worrying as there have been a lot of door step thefts in the area recently.

I received a text after it was delivered telling me to expect delivery between certain times.

Was looking for a recliner sofa and was shown the range by a really helpful and friendly member of staff who helped me to make the right choice without any pushy sales pitches that you can sometimes get in other stores. Very impressed with quality of sofas so quite confident in my choice.

Appalling Customer Services

I tried to open a basic current account for my elderly mother who doesn't have any photo ID. I was given the runaround by Co-Op Bank customer services for four months. I spoke to several members of staff who each had a different interpretation of the rules about exactly what type of document would be acceptable as ID. They all seemed baffled and I was never given a definitive answer. Every time I sent a document they asked for it was rejected with a different excuse. There doesn't appear to be any consistency in what they say.

There is no direct access to email or Chat if you don't already have an account. Everything is done by post (which takes weeks) and phone after waiting in a queue for 30-45 minutes. I actually had to apply 3 times as the delay in communication caused the applications to expire.

I put in a complaint but received a letter a week later to say my complaint had been resolved! Really? I gave up in the end and went to a rival bank who opened up an account in no time at all and with little fuss. Co-Op - please stick to groceries!

Ordered the Deluxe bed set following a…

Ordered the Deluxe bed set following a recommendation from a friend. Delivered very promptly within a few days. Very efficient and well packaged.
Quality is excellent and I like the fact that everything is washable. All Seasons duvet is very cosy and pillows, once you fluff them up a bit as required are just the right firmness for neck support. Was a bit worried about weight of duvet as we are used to goose down which is very light weight but found we actually like the change. Mattress protector fits our King size bed really well so feels very smooth. Quality of sleep improved so far as all very cozy.
