Lovely Place to Stay

Weather, Scenery & a nice place to stay.
Please note that a longer Review was submitted, don’t know where my comments went.
However, this is a very nice, comfortable & nicely furnished property. Although the stairs from kitchen upstairs to Living Room & 2 bedrooms were steep. The spiral staircase to ground floor Double Bedroom & Shower Room was tight, both were manageable by me with a 44 inch waist. I would suggest Elderly & Overweight persons to note this. However, this well located dwelling has 2 good pubs very near, serving V.Good Food, Beer & Wine served by friendly staff in accommodation pleasing to the eye.
You’re also near person Ferry for Fowey (pronounced Foy) & 10 minute journey to the Vehicle Ferry at Boddenith(?) which takes you to Fowey as well as roads leading to South Cornwall (Charlestown, St Austell & Mevagissy, just a few of the many to visit).
We had a problem operating the Hob & Double Oven, once informed how to use, no problem. I must read the instructions on operating these appliance’s.
Would I return, Yes, but when I’ve stayed in the other areas of Cornwall, we haven’t been. I do recommend this property & area.

I only scored 3

I only scored 3, which is Neutral, Neither VG or Poor.
I called Ryobi for assistance on a product I bought 7 years ago but forgot about. It was a 2 Re-chargeable battery that was still in its sealed plastic case. I was aware that not used it may have discharged & probably dead.
Having read on the internet regarding others who have had the same problem, where some have been successful reviving, others not so lucky.
I phoned Ryobi for assistance and transferred to the appropriate department. Unfortunately the assistance was that the battery was dead (can’t remember the exact words).
I was hoping that those remedies on the internet may have been suggested. I am not complaining, but you forwarded this to review my experience.
Your employee I spoke to was polite, not in a hurry so no complaints about his manner.

Not a Customer Focus Company

This review should have a negative choice. Why, after 7 days of waiting for the blockage affecting 6 households, we are still waiting. Despite contacting them everyday we only get they’ll be there tomorrow.
I have requested to speak to someone in hierarchy, “ oh we will pass this on” no calls to date. 72 hours is there timescale, ha ha, what a laugh. No problem putting up annual charge by 33%.
I was asked if any of the households are over 60 (Yes) any with children under 5 ( Yes, just over 1 years) & any household with medical problems (Yes). Apparently these should be treated as priority.
I suggest customers of Southern should be asking the reason for the increase, surely not for increased dividends or Management Bonus Schemes.
Yes, I am angry, I have tried to assist in unblocking this problem affecting 6 properties.
Update:
Between 13:30 -16:00 hours today (after submitting this review) the drain blockage appears to be sorted.
However, no thanks from me. The mess left on & around the drainage access cover was something I didn’t expect to be left for me to clean up.
It was dirty contaminated sewage water. No concern for the effect on Health. I spent quite sometime cleaning up the mess & hopefully the disinfectant will have neutralised any contaminants.
Next door has a young child who is just learning to walk. I have a small dog who spends time in the backyard. There is another young child who could be affected, as well as my other neighbours who have drainage access covers.
I hope I do not go through this experience again. Fortunately, lots of water & sewage chemicals may have reduced what could have been.
My words are not aimed at the workers who do this work but those in a position to ensure customers come first. Ensuring the correct time has been allocated to do the work in the timescales & to a standard expected.

Acer Customer Support Not So Good

My review is regarding Acer Customer Support Service.
After learning that I couldn’t fit additional storage into my Acer Aspire 5 A515-52-57BY Laptop I contacted Acer for assistance.
When I purchased this Laptop, there was no warning that additional parts are required to attach a 2.5” SSD Hard Drive into my Laptop.
It appears that a Bracket & Cable is required. Apparently this Acer Model is the only one that does not come with them (according to many write ups on Internet Reviews/Videos).
My experience (over a few weeks) with Acer Support was not good, I didn’t find them helpful & they failed to read, view & understand my communications.
Unfortunately I am unable to increase the Storage for this model & the Hard Drive I purchased is unable to attach, therefore unable to use.
My message to readers is to ensure that before purchasing a Laptop/Computer that you know what parts are necessary & where to get them if you need to add additional parts.
I am disappointed with Acer, as the Laptop works well but is no longer fit for purpose without additional storage.

Arrived earlier than expected, 5 stars.
Unfortunately CDs that were available & in my basket only to be shown as sold at checkout a few moments later, hence 4 stars.
Overall happy with buying from HMV.

Five Stars now Changed to 2 because of Poor Response

The Five Stars originally shown is because of the time you responded to my recent request on time delay, now changed to 2 for poor follow reply by Castore.
I also stated after 5 Stars, as otherwise 3 stars for reasons below.
Many items that I have ordered do take longer than expected.
Updates on dates would be helpful as well as ensuring items bought are delivered. A couple of times I have been informed on the way only to receive notification of No Longer available.
Recently I was informed that an item (NUFC Towel) was no longer available only to read on a communication from you that you were packing it up to send to me.
Bought a lot of items from you, albeit in the sale, just expect delivery of items to be as stated.
Since then I have amended to 2 stars for the lack of positive response by Castore Customer Service.

Only 4 stars as only part of my order…

Only 4 stars as only part of my order was fulfilled.
Feedback on orders slow.
However, the team did try to rectify situation once Christmas was out of the way.
NUFC Store did forward a token compensation for the experience, it was welcomed but I would have been happy with the Gnome I ordered.
I put it down to the busy Christmas period.

Worth Buying

The first Outdoor Woodstove we received had already been used. On hearing this Ninja immediately apologised & forwarded a replacement as well as organising the pick up.
The replacement was new & although we have only used once (due to bad weather) the food was very good, better than an outdoor barbecue.
Easy to clean, will be a great addition to our cooking range.
Only 4 stars due to receiving a return, however, I would have scored lower but the support from Ninja was very good.

Bought a top that arrived too small for size.
Contacted NUFC store regarding problem. I thought at first they were ignoring me, their prompt replies were actually going to my Junk box. Realising the problem, I contacted them explaining what had happened. They were understanding and have been first class in supporting me return item.
I have been assured my refund is being transferred to my account. I have received very good & understanding support from this company, 5* from me,

Forwarded a B Stock good as to a new…

Forwarded I believe is a B Stock good, as to an item that should be new.
Item wasn’t packaged, it was left open, no seal & delivery label was stuck on the Ryobi box.
This could not be given as a gift, it looks like returned goods.
Despite several communications by E-Mail, no reply.
Be warned that if you phone there Customer Services, be aware they keep you waiting for a considerable long time & even then it goes dead.
I’m surprised as my previous Ryobi purchases were good, hence this purchase.
