Item arrived damaged
Item arrived damaged! I took it to Blackfen Halfords who said the inner tube and tyre was damaged and as it was brand new delivered it shouldn't be like that so they replaced it. However, the tyre was a different tyre and no longer matches the back wheel. They said they don't stock this bike and helped call Charlton branch who agreed I could bring it down and they will replace the tyre. Once I arrived at the Charlton branch and explained what happened, they refused to open a new box to replace my tyre. And said I they wouldn't do that. I told the guy to call up Blackfen Halfords which he refused. As I needed it for a birthday present I had to accept a used display model which they said they can swope it over. Being lazy this guy try to swope the whole wheel over and I refused as I do not also want a used display wheel, and argued my case its meant to be a brand new bike! In the end he agreed to change the tyres (not sure if he did) as he said he couldn't do it now as hes busy but told me come back later in the evening to collect the bike! It would have literally taken him less than 5 mins to do it as I saw the guy putting on the replacement tyre within seconds!
I did not buy a brand new bike and expect display parts fitted to it so this 1* is well deserved Halfords! Would never buy from you again!
