Employed p31 carpentry Ltd to build a side and rear single story extension. I have a very thorough, fixed price contract signed by all parties. Quoted to finish in 3 months, now at 9 months and still incomplete. As time went on less trades people turned up and they were often not confident in the jobs they had been given. This is reflected in the quality of the work. Materials i paid for in advance didnt arrive and if they finally did, they were often a cheaper alternative to what was agreed and in the contract. The building inspector failed their work and we have no certification. My constant attempts to communicate have been ignored. They have been paid in excess of £100k and have left us in a dreadful state. Please note that I have video and photographic evidence to endorse my statements.
I'm now forced to take legal action as they have breached multiple contractual obligations. As you can imagine this has caused me much financial and emotional stress.
Other positive reviews here to date have been written by employees/ subcontractors contractors of p31. If only the same effort put into attempting to discredit honest reviews was employed in doing their actual jobs.
In all good conscious I could never recommend this company or the newer phoenix company. Please do your due diligence checking the directors and their trading history on Companies House.
I have reported my experience to Companies House which has halted the attempt to dissolve and to the Insolvency Service for investigation.

I can only relay the service I received in the Cheltenham store. For the last 2 years, I have visited the store twice, to purchase new glasses.
The service from the eye test to selecting frames, lenses and tints to collecting them has been excellent.
Both staff members have been knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and have taken the time to make sure that I'm happy with my purchases.
I've recommended them to friends.

Great clothes that are a bit different and cater for the young and young at heart.
Reasonably priced too.
The staff are great and the rare occasion that a problem occurs it's quickly sorted out.
Great company, would highly recommend.

Easy to navigate website with a huge choice.
Goods are always delivered quickly.
I've only had a great customer experience having shopped here for many years.

I ordered and received a hair product that had a faulty spray mechanism, so instead of an even mist, the liquid came out in abundance and covered just a small area. I contacted Just my Look. That was 30/12/24
It's now 14/01/25, 8 emails later and they are still arguing over sorting this problem.
After passing 2 AI responses, customer services, an ironic title, then demanded video and photograph evidence. All this despite numerous explanations that the canister looked normal but the actual spray was faulty.
I'm not a videograher and it was impossible to take a photograph of spray.
Nethertheless they still demanded and if this doesn't happen, all they will do is offer me a 10% discount on my next purchase!!
All this time and effort and upset over replacing goods not fit for purpose, a law in the UK, but not a policy of this company.
Shame on justmylook, a look at UK law and how you treat regular, reasonable customers is required. I won't be buying from them again .
UPDATE Amazing how quickly they can respond when they want to! Their resolution was finally received today. I now must return the faulty item to them for inspection. If they agree that's it's faulty, they may finally replace. Based on this experience. I'm not holding my breath.

Review for illumination.co.uk. a lighting company. 6 weeks ago I decided to invest in 2 new pendants lights from this company. I thought i had found those special finishing touches that I was after. They have taken my money and run. I have sent several messages via their online form( the only way to contact them as the ☎️ no. they list plays a msg saying calls aren't taken) I don't know if they have gone bust or are just vile scammers. I will now try and get my money back. What a terrible experience.

Having searched for the right lighting I ordered 2 relatively expensive pendants from illumination.co.uk. That was 6 weeks ago and they have taken my money and run. I have sent several messages via their online contact form( the only way to contact them as the ☎️ no. they have gets you an automated msg saying calls aren't taken!) I'm really upset that I've been scammed. I dont know if the business has gone bust or they are purely scammers. I don't have the lights that I was looking forward to putting up and I'm out of pocket by alot of money. I will now have to try and get my money back. What an awful experience.

I'm new to the Laundryb party!
I have received 3 orders from them recently. The clothes, boots and accessories have all been great. Communication from them is excellent and delivery was swift.
Of all the items I received, one had a fault. I contacted them and this item was replaced the very next day. I was very impressed as how a company deals with a problem, really shows their worth.
I will definitely be ordering again.

I have been a QVC customer for many years, indeed I have recommended them to many. Never again. 7th Oct 2020 I received an email saying my order delivery would be delayed max 24hrs. 12 Oct I rang QVC customer services as parcel had still not moved. I was told to wait another 5 days, whilst they investigated. The staff member was very unhelpful so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told I would get a call in 48hrs. Its now 21st Oct. 2020. I have had no call from a supervisor or any update on the order I have paid for. I'm mindful of the impact Covid has on business and I have let several mistakes made by QVC slide. But 14 days from me paying for a product and still NOTHING from them is unacceptable.
