Cash transfer problem

After problems trying to transfer cash into my account, I phoned, earlier today. The phone was answered immediately, and six options were very clearly given. I pressed 6, and that was also answered immediately. The gentleman was very helpful, and identified the problem in a minute or so, and told me the solution. To my surprise he then offered to stay on the line while I attempted a transfer, in order to be sure that the correct solution had been found. This is probably the best on-line service I have ever had.

customer service

After comparing house insurance rates on various websites I decided to go for Swinton. I applied on line, but after competing the form, which takes some time, your website refused to accept payment (via my Visa debit card). I tried again, and the following day, with the same result.
On Monday 27 Feb I called, and eventually was able to speak to a representative. I explained my problem, and asked if my application could be brought up on your computer system.
I expected your rep to say 'Sorry for the problems encountered etc..' but what I got was a very curt 'What is the reference number?'. I didn't know it, so she said 'Post Code'. Not 'What is your Post Code please'. Then 'Date of Birth'. Never once a please or thank you. And that's how things continued throughout the whole procedure.
I also found your rep difficult to understand at times.
When the house business was finished she immediately asked whether I had a car. Again I found her brusque, persistent, and impolite. After a couple of minutes I had to ask her to stop and simply conclude my house insurance.
If I were to encounter anything like this in the future I would put the phone down and look elsewhere.
Sorry this is not a very positive feedback, but I really was very surprised by the whole experience.

I ordered a music book

I ordered a music book, you confirmed my order and took payment. Then you emailed me saying it was damaged, asking if I wanted a replacement or refund. I emailed almost immediately, 6th March, saying refund.
You then sent a different item, no refund. I emailed you again, on the 8th March, no reply.

I emailed again on 11th March, no reply, but a refund appeared on my bank account. No word from you.

Ruark radio purchase

I phoned about 4 o'clock today, spoke to Peter about a Ruark radio/speaker. He was very helpful, checked stock, and then completed the purchase in a couple of minutes or so. Including free delivery by Wednesday 23 December.
If I may make one small point - Peter has a slightly unusual mannerism of saying 'Cool' every few seconds. But generally very good service.

I had booked a morning battery fitting…

I had booked a morning battery fitting for Saturday 17 October - I was then informed (two or three texts and emails) that it would be between 09.45 and 10.45.
This hour came and went, nobody arrived. I tried to call customer services, twenty minutes on the phone, no answer.
I received a call form CS, they apologised, gave me a new time - by twelve o'clock. This came and went, then a call from the fitter himself, saying 12.30. He arrived a few minutes after that.
The fitter explained that there had been a hold up at 08.00, and that there was never any possibility of meeting the times promised. The 09.45-10.45 texts should not have been sent, and the later promises should not have been made.
A very frustrating morning.
I'm awaiting a response, and reimbursement.
The two fitters were very good - quick, efficient, pleasant to deal with.
