A JOKE OF AN INTERNET SUPPLIER

Took out a contract 10 days ago, directly at a 3 store. In short

- 3 store failed to provide any contract details
- 3 store failed to provide the phone number, for a broadband contract
- 3 store have stated they cannot cancel the contract or accept the device back, directly
- 3 systems have utterly blocked me from setting up an online account
- 3 systems via complaints have stated i must return device to the store

As a partially disabled customer, have used computers since 1986, am a competent internet user, have used Central Government, Local Government, Commercial systems had online accounts for years, it's been an absolutely surreal, horrific experience

I have already spent 16 Hours on buses, trying to sort this out directly. I have spent hours online trying to sort this out.

IT'S A BLOODY JOKE, AN UTTERLY INCOMPETENT SUPPLIER, TO A DEGREE TO WHICH I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED PREVIOUSLY

OH YES. AFTER 9 DAYS, THEY CHARGED ME £33.42 FOR AN ACCOUNT WHICH HAD BEEN SOLD, AS A £28 PER MONTH, UNLIMITED INTERNET ACCESS ACCOUNT

(Nb. Has become clear after contact with online 3 "customer services today, in which I stated I wish to cancel the contract? My internet speed has dropped through the floor, it's too much of a coincidence, for this to have occurred, precisely after that contact)

3 ? My online experience of having been seriously "scammed" by an internet based service

Hello, Guy.

We're very sad to hear that you're experience so far with Three has been so poor. That's not at all what we would have expected or hoped for. It's disappointing that this has lead to you having to cancel the account.

In relation to the bill, it sounds like the first bill generated, and it would do so with Pro Rata on it, and it would be for the full month ahead. It would not take into account any changes or adjustments that took place after it generated. Any over payment, if any, would be credited back in the following bill charge,

We're always working on making things better for our users, and take the feedback you give us on board. Hopefully there are improvements we can make along the way that will address and improve some of the issues that impacted you. -Pete

3 mobile scam

Was mis sold the original contract. Absolute failure to provide contractual details, or any means by which the account could be logged into. In total, as a partially disabled person, spent 16 Hr's over 3 days, travelling to the store, to try and sort it out. Have now had the account running for 7 days. Already I've had a "bill" for £33.42, rather than the £28 per month I was told would give me unlimited internet access.

It comes across as a scam, it's been an appalling experience. Hadn't realised 3 mobile run scams

No Service & Fleecing the customer. NOW Br....

53 minutes trying to get online. 1 Hour and 27 minutes in during this session alone, to cancel my broadband service. Will have taken 3 - 4 Hours in total, to cancel the service

NOW Broadband insist that cancellation is done via telephone. Telephone systems have routinely not worked correctly, text buttons pressed, not being recognised, next to no audible service. It is marking, that cancellation of non online services, can be done online, it is only the online service, which cannot be cancelled online

Have had some 3 months, with next to non existent internet service, no response as such, from Now Broadband. Inane systems, which don't work correctly. As a partially disabled person, has required walking to the Library, to use communal computers

£49.74 Early Termination charge ? As it's charged to a card which I no longer have, will endeavour to ensure, that it is cancelled directly at a bank branch (Nb. Am aware that the bank has struggled to cancel this payment previously, but other than closing the bank account I've had since 1990, am left with few choices.

Now Broadband have provided perhaps the only service I know of, which has truly represented a "fleece the customer approach"

Review of Facebook

We're in the 21st century, with a 90's page

Have always avoided Facebook, it being annoying that 1-2 organisations using it, forcing myself to occasionally log on. Logged on today for the 2nd time, 2024, found Facebook again wasn't working, merely a blank page, no information.

Suppose it's a 90's online page and cannot manage the 21st century

Was able to get a PUK code within 12-13 minutes

Absolute failure of network for days / weeks now ? Had a critical service trying to contact me all evening, was able to receive a text message, I wasn't able to get a connection with the critical service. Finally at around 10.51, I was able to receive a phone call from the critical service and although only an occasional word could be heard, arrangements have been made so that the critical service can attend.

On the positive ? The one part of the O2 service which has worked properly, has been obtaining a PUK (Leaving code). Was incredible, was able to receive a PUK code, within 12-13 minutes of applying, despite it being past 23.00Hr's

Will be deleting my direct debit on checking whether I'm tied into a contract with 02 for another few months. But will be sorting out a mobile phone operator, which can actually provide a service ASAP regardless of the cost involved.

It's ironic that obtaining my PUK code has been the only part of 02's service which has worked properly, hope I'm tied into paying for their non existent service for the next 12 months (Nb. Some costs have to be shouldered).

Review of Amazon

Cancelled the order. Scam

Cancelled the order. Was clear Amazon were trying to pull a fast one, a compulsory "FOC" trial of Prime being part of the order. I'd would be enrolled to pay Amazon for life, unless I ever managed to ensure the "contract" was cancelled. Had a trial of the purchase again, was clear that I hadn't made a mistake, if I spent £5.39 on a coffee grinder, I'd be enrolled forever at £5+ a month, for a subscription scheme which I had quite definitely ensured, was signed off as "Not joining". Such a dodgy, open faced scam, it's unreal

Reminds me that I must check, as my gut instinct is that Amazon do pull quick tricks like this. It's appalling

Life dependent on mobile coverage

As a Partially Disabled individual, near death on several occasions, with 50+ emergency ambulance rides in past 6yr's (1 No. called by myself)

02 phone reception is bad, that my life is being put on the line, to use this company. Am looking for ways in which I can withdrawn from my contract, so that I can sort out a service, providing reception (Nb. Thought O2 would be great; a joke compared with Vodafone & 3 mobile, my previous providers)

Fleecing the customer

Excellent range of products, had actually placed an order. But became apparent within a minute, that despite all of my precautions, a good 20 minutes ensuring I wouldn't be subscribing to Amazon, I'd been fleeced. Have cancelled the order within 3 minutes of placing the order, after best part of an hour reviewing the MP3 player I wanted to buy. Am happier to pay double the price with a retailer that can be trusted. Amazon = Con artists

Nokia keypad beeping

Have used Nokia's for +20yr's, a basic, cheap, robust phone. But Nokia 105's have an appalling keypad beeping sound; so irritating have actually chucked phones in the bin. And ? Multiple guides, manuals, videos to show how to turn sound off, including Nokias own manual for the 105. None matches the actual screen/settings of my 2024, 105, so beeping can't be turned off. Have spent more Hr's on this, than installing software on a new laptop bought at the same time

Excellent operative, .......company

Excellent operative, stayed on the line for a full 14 minutes & 36 seconds to help me get back into my account. But ? Why does it have to be so .......difficult? Used to have a mobile, bought credit or paid the bill, didn't have to spend hours over 3.5 weeks, trying to regain access to an account, full of nonsensical data (Nb. My laptop, mobile, A4 diaries containing abbreviated pas..o.ds etc, had all been taken. My priority will be to verify when this account can be cancelled. 02 are a ......farce

No issues with broadband service and/or costs

Customer Services an absolute joke. +3yr's always paid the bill, wished to continue paying the bill. Now TV make the process incredibly difficult. A new card number following near death within past 3 weeks, was beyond the ability of Now TV to process. Have spent Hr's on the phone, was forced to spell out every letter & number of the transaction to finally have it processed (Nb. As a left leaning, partially disabled, Guardian reading, former senior officer assisting vulnerable groups in the UK, experience will have been negative for both. Perhaps an IT led approach, utilising the abilities of those elsewhere, would be more effective than a call centre)

Excellent device, dreadful user sign in requirement

Have a HP2132 printer/scanner/copier, an excellent machine. But HP ? I have nearly been dead within the past 16 days, I am having to try and survive, with huge quantities of info to be scanned, copied, printed.

Generic HP nonsense, am having to spend my days uploaded and signing into the HP Community, to make me a happy, smiling, HP user. DO THESE HORRIFIC COMPANIES DO THIS TO TRY AND ......PEOPLE OFF ?

I will to bin a perfectly decent printer, as an individual near death and on a low wage. Because HP have put functions into using the printer, which means it'll no longer work, when HP decides it has to stop being used, to ensure a replacement

Suppose that finding a printer that is not manufactured by HP and operates without a determined end of life date, will be essential (Nb. Came close to dying yesterday myself, HP have seriously obstructed my need to obtain official help)

Broadband membership

Have a TV membership (Nb. For broadband use). Am a customer who pays my bills, a near death, replacement of debit card & mobile phone within past ten days, causing issues. New card details have been provided, as has the new mobile no., Now TV have proved incapable of taking a payment. As an individual who's been near death, I've had to provide my post code, again and again and again and again and again and other data, Now TV employing poor telesales staff. Not one of the other suppliers public or private, have caused the slightest issue. Now TV ? Hours trying to make a payment now, do wonder if they actively try to hack people off ?

Postcode not accepted

2-3 Hr's researching a product online, multiple sites, felt a £5 saving on £165 was worth it. Web site couldn't process my post code, so order cancelled. Will pay £5 more elsewhere and buy the product I had decided to buy (Nb. Online suppliers which can't even process an address, are generally worth avoiding)
