Seem good so far

Easy to sign up, interest rate is competitive, and their app seems very polished. Also withdrawals are immediate, unlike some competitors (e.g. Leeds BS) who make you wait until the next working day before releasing your money.

Their ODE card seems a bit dodgy

The site and its discounts aren't bad, but they are now heavily pushing the ODE cashback card which is supposed to be "completely free" to sign up for. However, when I applied through the DfT site ODE wanted to charge me an initial £4.99 'delivery and fulfillment fee', so I didn't bother. This hidden fee feels deceptive.

Ordered a set of "compatible"…

Ordered a set of "compatible" cartridges for my Canon MF657 laser printer. Even though I print very little, and the cartridges were supposed to be high capacity versions, they seemed to contain very little toner as prints very quickly became faint and streaky.
Quality was very poor, colours bled into each other, and at one point the yellow cartridge leaked toner into my printer. Very disappointing.

UPDATE: After my review someone from the Toner Place got in touch to find out more. I explained the issues and was told they would look into it and get back to me in due course, which is encouraging.

Review of Cruise and Passenger Services Limited

Very impressed!

We used CPS for parking during a cruise from Portsmouth. They were extremely well organised; our car was whisked away when we arrived at the cruise terminal, and waiting for us outside the terminal when we returned.

It certainly beats the hassles of airport parking!

Very pleased

Very pleased. It's the first time I used Marks, and the whole experience was excellent. The price was good, they pushed back the delivery date to fit in with our kitchen fitting, and the delivery guys (Alex K and Jared G) were prompt and very friendly and helpful.

Extremely frustrating experience

I've been a loyal client of Nixon Williams for many years, and until recently their performance has been fine, but I've now retired and simply want them to close my company asap.

After many emails being completely ignored or getting slow/vague responses, I paid their £540 closure fee six weeks ago and was told that someone would be in touch "in due course".

I'm still waiting...

My patience has run out. Perhaps this review will trigger something before I raise a formal complaint about their non-performance?

I've tried using my PP card in two…

I've tried using my PP card in two lounges and both refused it, saying they were only admitting paying customers who had pre-booked. And this was despite the lounges being visibly half-empty.

Worse, when I contacted PP to complain my emails were ignored. (Perhaps they will react to this review? )

What's the point of a lounge card that isn't honoured by lounges on the PP list? It's a total waste of money.

Didn't deliver on the expected day…

Didn't deliver on the expected day (despite leaving us a voice mail saying it would be here between 8am and 6pm, forcing us to wait all day), and then Customer Services takes ages to answer the phone. Useless. We still don't know where our mattress is or when it might show up!

Very pleased with the delivery. The box was a bit damaged so the driver waited and insisted that I open it in his presence in case the contents were damaged (and everything was OK). Good service.

Why does Lenovo use these clowns? I ordered a monitor which they claimed was "in stock" and would "ship within 7 business days". In the end it was delivered about 3 weeks later - and was sent all the way from Hong Kong!

Unreliable delivery times

Take Lenovo's website information with a pinch of salt. I ordered a monitor which was (and continues to be) listed as "in stock" and "ships within 7 business days". The initial email acknowledgement quoted a delivery time of over 2 months (eh?), but in the end it was delivered about 3 weeks later - and was shipped all the way from Hong Kong!
