Left in the dark

After giving customers a 2 hour window you must be able to deliver in that time. I was given a 19.00-21.00 time slot, following the vans progress was pointless as was the queuing number, the parcel never arrived. I was up until 22.00 and the van never moved for an hour! If it's not coming, tell me!! Don't leave us hanging. Poor management.

stuffed in the letterbox, no clue as to which option was mine. There is a garage nothing there. front garden nothing there.
how far up the street should I go asking if they have my parcel. May as well delete the App.

tracking???

Going to their tracking page, the information I got was;
"An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item".
So if they decide to let it rot in the warehouse, I won't get any information?
There are serious problems with the upper echelons of Royal Mail's management team. If they think this curt message will do the hoi polloi.

Good content, awful streaming, too many adds

The actual programmes are good some are exceptionally good. The problem is the actual app does not behave like other streaming apps, continually stuttering or stopping completely for a short time. I have fast broadband 150Mbp/s so it's not that and non of my other services have the same problem. There are far too many adds, I understand they want you to go add free, but no way would I pay for the service the way it is, Britbox was better, Cheap and nasty.

Can't help feeling ripped off.

I recently had to phone RAC as my car battery died. After waiting almost 4 hours the guy turned up and was carrying a battery, useful. However I phoned my partner in the meantime to get an idea of the battery cost, he checked with Halfords and the fitted price was £65. So I withdrew £100 thinking that was more than enough. Unfortunately the Price was £132. After feeling a bit of a mug and paying by card, I told my partner the price. He is as I write this, about to end our membership. Back to the AA? or Green flag?

Very pleased

Very pleased, our kitchen sink tap broke and homeserve sent a plumber who arrived at the time arranged, supplied and fitted a similar mixer tap quickly and cleanly. The cost was £30 excess

We understand how important our Customers homes are to them, so to get things back up and running swiftly is our main priority. It's fantastic to see we could replace your tap and you are happy with the outcome.

Thanks for rating us so highly, Alan.

Do Amazon know what a guarantee is?

Do Amazon understand what guaranteed means? Yes they probably do...it's just that they don't care if they break their word. If you are not sure you can deliver same day orders, don't guarantee them, otherwise you will be known as untrustworthy liars. Simple.

Review of cottages.com

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Impressive and efficient when you need it most.

We originally booked to go to north Wales, but due to Covid19 restrictions, it was cancelled. Cottages had contacted us literally within hours of the lockdown announcement to tell us our options. We chose a full refund, which we thought would take a couple of weeks, however, less than 24 hours later the refund was in our bank account! So we booked an alternative holiday from scratch, also with Cottages, (why use anyone else after service like that?) The website is user friendly, the properties are all outstanding and the customer service is phenomenal, even in these uncertain times.
