I foolishly paid less than £1 for the results of a bogus IQ test but did not sign up for a subscription. However I was so suspicious of the site having my details that I immediately asked AI how to make sure no subscription went out and it said to check it wasn’t listed on ApplePay. It wasn’t, yet today less than a month later I have been charged £14.99. I am currently on the phone to my bank to report this as fraud. Cerebrum, if you are reading this please explain why you kept my debit card details when I did not want and did not authorise a subscription to your service. I shall be reporting this to every fraud ombudsman I can find unless you confirm you have read this and have destroyed my details, and I want my £14.99 refunded. It’s disgraceful in this day and age when people are worried about money to be cynically defrauding people over the internet and I shall also be reporting you to Facebook as I find it immoral that they are running advertisements to trick people into surrendering their card details to a business that act unscrupulously. Did you hope I would not notice you pilfering from my account?
