I foolishly paid less than £1 for the results of a bogus IQ test but did not sign up for a subscription. However I was so suspicious of the site having my details that I immediately asked AI how to make sure no subscription went out and it said to check it wasn’t listed on ApplePay. It wasn’t, yet today less than a month later I have been charged £14.99. I am currently on the phone to my bank to report this as fraud. Cerebrum, if you are reading this please explain why you kept my debit card details when I did not want and did not authorise a subscription to your service. I shall be reporting this to every fraud ombudsman I can find unless you confirm you have read this and have destroyed my details, and I want my £14.99 refunded. It’s disgraceful in this day and age when people are worried about money to be cynically defrauding people over the internet and I shall also be reporting you to Facebook as I find it immoral that they are running advertisements to trick people into surrendering their card details to a business that act unscrupulously. Did you hope I would not notice you pilfering from my account?

Review of Normie & Company

A great experience - thoroughly nice people

I had a great experience with Normie Estate Agents - both Josh, who handled the sale of my house, and Nicole, who looked after completions were super nice and also reassuring when the sale ran into complications. I felt I could trust them to act in my best interests and Nicole went the extra mile for me when my seller's solicitor was delaying the process, chasing up my seller's estate agent to try to resolve the problem. I would recommend Normie to anyone, they made the stressful experience of selling a house as good as it could be.

Harley Sommer is the best!

I used Harley Sommer at Taylor Rose when I bought my recent property and it was the best decision I could have made. My seller's solicitor was hopeless and despite my house sale going through easily, buying my flat was made incredibly difficult due to the other solicitor's incompetence and complete lack of interest in progressing the sale. Throughout this very stressful process Harley was diligent in chasing them up, and was very clear about what their responsibilities were. He was also massively responsive to my calls and reassured me throughout the process. He was patient and professional and went out of his way to be helpful - and even sent me a card when I finally moved in to my flat! I have recommended him to all my friends and cannot praise him highly enough. A truly 5 star service!

Review of Royal Mail

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. Ordered a card from Moonpig and paid extra for it to be delivered on time. Was in all day and it didn’t arrive- then Royal Mail sent an email saying they tried to deliver my “parcel” (it was actually a small card that would have fit through a letterbox) and nobody was home to take it. There were 3 of us at home at the alleged delivery time, all in the front room where we would have seen Royal Mail come up the path and heard a knock at the door. Absolute liars! No photo, no card saying attempted delivery either, just an email with a blatant lie. Today it seems to have dropped off the tracking system. There’s no point trying to complain to them as they are impenetrable and don’t care one bit. Had the same last year with Christmas gifts ordered from Etsy. From now on I will make a point of not ordering from any business that uses the useless and untruthful RM as its carrier.

Did not arrive despite paying extra for specific delivery date

Paid extra to have a card delivered to me for my partner’s birthday and it didn’t arrive on time. Moonpig sent it with Royal Mail who emailed to say they couldn’t deliver my “parcel” (it was small card not a parcel and would have fit through the letterbox) because nobody was in (they gave a time at which there were three people in the house and nobody attempted to deliver anything.). I realise this is a Royal Mail issue but I don’t have this nonsense with Amazon and think Moonpig need to review their despatch methods. I would also like a refund as has to go out and buy another card.

Terrible service, don't trust them to deliver

In the past two months Royal Mail has lost (or thrown away, or just left on a pile, not bothering to deliver) two important financial documents and two Etsy packages that I bought as Christmas presents. I have gone to considerable trouble replacing the financial documents and am asking for refunds from the two perfectly nice independent traders on Etsy who, three weeks ago, naively posted my items with Royal Mail (whose tracking system indicates they have not even attempted delivery). I like to support independent retailers rather than use Amazon but frankly am put off buying from any traders that use this appalling company in future. Even trying to complain is futile. Given the price hikes over the last year (£1.25 for a first-class stamp when they admit they deprioritise letters in favour of delivering parcels so the term 'first class' is meaningless) I no longer send Christmas cards - Royal Mail cite a drop in custom as a reason they struggle but with their extortionate pricing and utterly appalling service, this is only going to continue.

Review of Currys

Currys have the worst customer service…

Currys have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been trying to arrange for an unwanted purchase to be collected since 19 December (today is 3 January) and have spoken to FOUR customer advisers who have given me incorrect or misleading information, and one staff member in the Cheetham Hill Branch who was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. I have also sent four emails to the Chief Executive/Customer complaints team (three of which have been ignored) and so far they have arranged one collection which was booked incorrectly and resulted in one person from DPD in a tiny vehicle turning up and being baffled to be confronted by a large boxed fridge which he could not take (I never heard from DPD or Currys about why this happened and no subsequent collection has been arranged despite me writing to them four times now). However I did get a chirpy automated email this morning asking me to review my purchase and their store, so here is my review - don't bother - pay a little more and go to a store that values its customers and has staff competent and/or interested enough to arrange a simple collection and refund which is well within statutory rights. The next stop will be trading standards...

Amazing leggings

Was quite cynical at first but Fabletics leggings are definitely a cut above the normal ones. Got beautifully and are comfy and flattering. Will definitely buy again
