Back on the Bike
Back on the Bike. After many years hiatus I’ve gone back to cycling for fitness and to hopefully gain my top end speed and endurance back. As a former bike mechanic and competitive cyclist I want to make a single good purchasing decision versus multiple upgrades to get to my final desired choice of equipment. I wanted a lightweight aero wheelset to compliment my Dura Ace Di2 Bike but but did not want to break the bank. The ICan aero 40’s seem to fit my needs. Cost, durability and function were my primary concerns. So far I have not been disappointed. With only 250 miles on them I cannot speak of their durability but I’m pleased with their looks, weight and function. The wheelset feels responsive on the road and the tubeless rim option gives me greater flexibility with a wider tire and lower pressures during wet/rainy rides.
